Mod Detectives 120.

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:50 am

Looking for a mod that adds weapons with unique scripted enchantments such as a mace that can send people flying, a sword that gets more powerful based on kills per hour, dagger that has a chance to do an instant kill if you preform a sneak attack, etc.
I am also looking for a mod that allows you to cast a spell that will temporarily give your attacks extra fire/frost/lightning damage
Thanks

Not sure if it fits the bill, but check out http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10090. Very nifty mod that makes any unscripted weapon you choose strike with your current enemy's elemental weakness.

Is there a mod like FO:NV's Underground hideout, that lets you store your weapons visually and armours too, all in a clean way and has a trophy system? Thanks!

This sounds like it would be a common mod to find, but I can't seem to find it. What I'm looking for is a mod that deletes everything, except for the basics like the Body Meshes, and the settings. Is there one out there? I saw one forr Morrowind, but not Oblivion. Thanks ahead of time.

Why not just make a back up the body mesh folder and the .ini then just manually delete the folder? Am I confused on what you're asking for here?

Could also be Unique Landscapes Imperial Isle. This adds about four farmhouses on the isle, mostly on the northeast side.

Looking for a mod that makes the Nirnroot quest potions, well, ...better. I don't like the potions at all, but I like gathering Nirnroots. I can just use them in potions, but it would be neat to have a reward potion that's actually cool. I did find http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2322, but increasing attributes is a bit overpowered. I'm just looking for a good dungeon-diving combo potion.

Can anyone give me a list of the most compatible and best looking/ immersive weather mods? I have done a reinstall of Oblivion and I've always used natural environments but I understand there's better weather mods now.

Not a list but no one will deny that this mod is considered extremely good, and IMO the best. :)

Does anyone know of a mod that adds miscellaneous items that script common console commands on equip? the ones I would be concerned with are the ones commonly used for screenshotting: togglemenu, toggle ai, toggle free camera, and possibly toggle collision. The reason I want miscellaneous items for this rather than a mod that sets fixed hotkeys is because I'm using enhanced hotkeys which basically accounts for the entire keyboard.

Although I can't seem to find anything else that matches your inquiry other than the mod you linked to, I can't imagine that remaking the potion would be more difficult than editing the item in the CS. If you are confident enough in your own CS mastery, I could probably do it for you. What effects would you consider best for dungeon diving?

Weak: Detect Life, Chameleon 25% for 300 seconds
Moderate: Detect Life, Chameleon 35%, Feather 50 for 300 seconds
Strong: Detect Life, Chameleon 50%, Feather 75, Fortify Security 15 for 300 seconds
Grand: Detect Life, Chameleon 75%, Feather 100, Fortify Security 25 for 300 seconds

That sounds like good dungeon-diving help to me! And, if you decide to whip up a mod that does this, thank you.

I have a hazy recollection of a large dungeon mod with underground communities and trade caravans. I can't remember if was just a WIP or actually released. Apologies for the vagueness - if I could remember more I would most likely have found it myself

I'll see if I have time to do it this week. It shouldn't take too long.

I've been reading about NPC AI lately and noticed that the confidence article on the CS Wiki says that "NPCs with 0 confidence will flee to a nearby guard. However, the guards do not respond when the NPC reaches them, and the NPC merely follows the guard around, periodically playing the cower animation." Was there ever a fix for this issue? I suppose what I'm really looking for is a mod that makes guards always defend the innocent. I'm not sure how to look for it, so does anybody know of one that exists?
