Mod Detectives 120.

I've heard rumors of a mod that allows the PC to escape from combat after having been detected by a hostile by entering sneak mode again from a successful vantage point. Does anyone know the name?

Could that be this one?

I've no idea what Fallout 3 has, but there's http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14362, which lets you dye hair, and select from the default hair styles available. Doesn't include any of the COBL or BG combo options, however (Saram, Ren, etc). I used it for a bit, found it worked well.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13437 has a lot of giveaway wigs for a number of the less basic, non-default styles and a few standard colors. The store is best known, though, for its huge collection of armor and clothes for female characters. Very elaborate, and well done.

Thank you that is what I need. With Fallout 3 they have NPC that can change your hair stye and colour. Its not a mod but it came with the game. Thank you.

Is there a mod which allows holding a key to make the compass visible (on release the compass is hidden)?

Also regarding the compass, is there a mod that causes the compass needle to lag slightly behind the mouse movement?

Is there a mod that disables the skill gain from skill books entirely? I searched but only came up with the 'Save Skill Books for Later' mod which lets you pick them up without reading them, but I want something that lets me read them and never gain the skill.

I've seen Luchaire's Neck Seam Concealer, but that doesn't exactly appeal to me due to the lack of a male version and the lack of implementation to NPC's. Is there a mod out there that maybe replaces vanilla amulets with a Seam-Concealer-like model and adds more to NPC's? Something that will work with both genders? Thanks for the help.

My pleasure. The gamesas team has a habit of implementing in code on one game what modders added to the last game. They did this repeatedly in Oblivion, and it's interesting to see that it's happened in Fallout 3, as well.

Does anybody know if there exists a patch that makes Slof's Horses v2.0 compatible with the official DLC Horse Armor? None of the patches I've found in my searches worked (because they were all for older versions).

Another option is VipCxj's Hair Eye Extend System. I'd link but one of the pics used to illustrate the functionality of the mod is a little too revealing for here. Anyway, it works well for me, and it's up at Nexus. Requires OBSE 20 beta 5.

I'm looking for a mod that lets me extend the duration of night, however leaves days the same time frame. I used to have it, and from what I remember / is the key to bring it up. Thanks :)

Are there any mods that add turbans or head scarves to the game?

That hair is not publicly available, afaik. Personally I think http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37368 has the largest selection of quality hairstyles for female characters out there.

Thanks, I checked out the screenshots yesterday based on (your?) link in another thread. Nice collection - but no updos that I can see, which is what I'm looking for.

There are none pictured, but there are at least one or two in there :): here's a pic of my custom Nord wearing one of them: http://tesalliance.org/forums/uploads/1294468471/gallery_80_16_595865.jpg

Not related, but, that's possibly the only character I have ever seen that really looks like she'd be a total cow irl (if she was real). That's an amazing job done.

That's the only other one I'm aware of, other than using the http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22124's optional TNR merge, or even http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21104 Races' (probably slightly cut down) version of the same.*

Oh, and there's http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5175, or the http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37368 of that.

That's all I got, for now.

Use TESNexus search, and/or Google, if you're unsure where these things live. :)

* You need to install the Cosmetic Resources archive for Cobl, to use the full Cobl Races. Not sure if the TNR merge is in there, or only separate...

edit: Or, if my links are wrong. :D Also, not entirely sure BP or 2chBP actually change the appearance of NPCs - I just assumed that, but haven't used them myself.

That's from the Moonshadow Elves hairpack (no links- nudity) at TES Nexus. Look for it under the race's files tab, under updates.

Those aren't utility belts or satchels, they're part of armor sets.
The armor sets are part of Waalx's creatures mod, you have to join his forum to download it: http://waalx.com/RealSwordsForum/index.php
