There is a mod that allows the player to claim (change ownership) any interior that he/she has cleared of owners or monsters. I believe it was done by casting a spell in the desired interior, likely required OBSE and came out about 14-16 months ago. Anyone know which mod this might be?

1. I am looking for a mod that adds a resurrect spell.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=5103 (there are no doubt others; this is the only one I can think of atm!)

2. A mod to use if I want all NPCs to be non-essential.

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8414 (or there's the console... ;)) - probably other alternatives, again.

Hm. I'll have to think about the spawn question. Can't seem to think of anything right now. Mods-wise, that is.

edit: Well, there's this - http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2137 - but that's pretty extreme on the one hand, and not quite enough on the other. :shrug: You could certainly go through every critter with the CS and change either "respawns" or "essential" (or both) to no.yes, as tbe case may be. :/

Thank you! When trying to search for it, I found that claim, interior and owned/ownership were very common terms, every other link led to the CS wiki.

Thanks for the reply. I did some searching and found a great mod for making NPCs non-essential and non-respawning.
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32442 I'm using option 4 :) So far the bodies have lasted 12 days without disappearing, so I assume they will always remain unless I disable them thru console. Just what I wanted.
Optional there are other effects possible:
1) NPCs will only respawn
2) NPcs will not respawn

3) NPcs will only be un-essential
4) NPCs will be un-essential and not respawning

I'll give Paladin's Spell a shot. Though I am hoping to find a resurrect mod that also restores NPC attached quests and inventory. Maybe this one does, will let you know :)
I wasn't able to find any mod that removes monster/creature respawns. Surprised others haven't requested this.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32811 This Resurrect spell restores NPCs with their scripts.

To be honest, you're the first person I've heard of that actually wanted to remove spawn points. Besides that I'm thinking if you did that, you wouldn't see any monsters at all.

I believe this is because it leads to savegame bloat.

Fcom (or one of it's components) has an option to change respawn time up to a year ingame time. If you are running the default 30 to 1 timescale thats 292 hours of gameplay before respawn, but the mod that allows this warns that it results in huge saves. This is because the game tracks the changes in the gameworld relative to the gameworld at the start of the game, respawning allows it to discard many of those changes.

SPAWN also allows massive changes to respawn and is has a lot of options for different types of areas.
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25536

These mods also change respawn timer, but likely suffer from the same bloat mentioned above.
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2091
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10976

This one changes the flags on NPCs to make them non-essential and non-respawning. It would do nothing to nothing to non-vannilla NPCs and you would need a bashed patch to avoid conflicts with other mods that alter any vanilla NPCs (a good idea anyway).

Thank you for the additional links... What is the danger of savegame bloating?

Looking for a mod that forces dead NPCs to still equip anything they may have had on them after taking some of their items in the menu. So if the NPC had a curiass and greaves, and you took that, but also had a shirt and pants and you didn't take that, they wouldn't be a naked dummy container with pants magically in them, but would still be wearing the shirt and pants after you exited the menu. Does it exist?

I could almost swear that they do that by default. I don't have Corpse Equip (unless it's built into FCOM somewhere) and if I put an item on a corpse, or anything like that they equip it :/

Is there a mod that will give a visual indication of reflect damage? I play with difficulty slider at 80%, which means I can insta-kill myself if a creature has reflect damage. I've learnt to avoid close combat with the normal creatures like Rainbow Wyverns and the various atronachs but sometimes it's just totally unexpected. Like there's a mod that had what looked like normal skeletons but were modified with reflect damage.

I'm after a mod that will let me check out an enchanted items enchants while I'm looking at them (sort of like scrolling over items in WoW gives you the enchant details).

I'm not even sure if this is possible, so thanks in advance either way :)

Um, it won't let me Edit that, so I should point out that I mean while the item is in the gameworld, e.g. laying on the ground/in a display cabinet, etc.

Nah, that's not quite what I'm after.

What I'm after is something like;

You know how when you look at an item that's laying on the ground (lets pretend that you just shot a bandit who had a magical weapon in his hand and when he died it dropped onto the ground (not in his corpse 'inventory')) and it says something along the lines of;

Longsword of Lightning Ownage
Weight: 46 Dam: 34 Price: 4500

(for example)

Well, I'm looking for something that says:

Longsword of Lightning Ownage
Weight: 46 Dam: 34 Price: 4500
+30 Lightning Damage/hit

Hmmm..Well I made a character that is dark...I haven't ever played the "Troubled-child" role before, so I was hoping to become a vampire at one point...Well, I happened to of contracted the disease, and now I realize, I need to find a good vampire mod. Not the vampire mod that which is of unspeakable nature (Voldemort!) that starts with an "Un" and ends with a "ness".
What are other popular vampire mods? I would like my character to still be pretty after becoming a vampire instead of disgusting ugly. And I have been a vanilla vampire before and that is just boring, so...A good vampire overhaul would be nice.

I have my Simple Vampirism Expanded mod:
http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36408
It's not an overhaul, per se, but an tweak and expansion of Oblivion's vampirism system.

===========
Description
===========
1. Oblivion Vampirism reversed: stronger after feeding, grows weaker every day after
2. Life detect and Night-eye toggable, no duration.
3. Random "gift" power, magnitude increases at level-ups.
4. Vampiric level increases as the player levels-up.
5. At every 10th Vampiric level, new "gift" power.

Sometimes, simple is better.

Hey guys, I saw a mod awhile ago that added a beautiful nature based house in the shivering isles, I want to say it was an outdoor home, but I'm not entirely sure, it had beautiful trees from cyrodil in it, and lots of very nice plants and animals I believe, I was hoping someone knew what I was talking about...

A sort of reverse request here. I have a plugin name and I need to match it up to a mod so I can add it to BOSS. I had a quick search, but couldn't see anything. Just wondering if anyone knows the mod name to save me more in-depth searching.

Here it is: IOM - Arena.esp

Looking for a mod that allows casting spells underwater, I tried a Target Spell and it wouldn't allow it, or is there a Global to edit in the CS?

Secondly I apparently installed a mod that changes some of my English writing into Spanish, the two instances I can think of atm if you cursor over the Gray Fox he's called El Zorro and if you commit a murder the screen flash is in Spanish. This happen to anyone, who might recall which mod causing this before I start disabling them?

Thanks for any tips. :smile:
