I hope it's ok if I repeat a request I made at the end of the last thread...

Something else I'm looking for: a nightvision mod that changes the nighteye effect so that it's just a moderate increase in ambient light. All the mods I have been able to find either change it to use some wacky effect or other, or make nighteye look as bright as day. I know there's got to be a more subtle one out there somewhere.

Also, thanks for the suggestion on Beautiful Women and Handsome Gents. Unfortunately, I can't use it since I don't have SI (it's surprisingly hard to find copies of SI & GOTY Oblivion these days...i've been looking lately), but it looks like the mod it was based on, Beautiful Women, doesn't require SI, so I'll be sure to try that one out.

Yet another of my planned mods that never saw the light of day... :( I don't think there's anything that does what you want - you might want to look into Less Overpowered Nighteye though, which does have a 'slightly brighter' option IIRC, but also has a vignetting and masking effect that cuts off part of the screen.

I believe I've now tried every night-eye mod on the nexus. The one that comes closest to what I want is kuertee's mod -- it does retain shadow information, and it looks a lot better than most. But it's really still brighter than I want. Maybe kuertee will add a lower-light shader to the options at some point (hopefully!). But yeah, I think you're right -- I don't think such a mod actually exists.

Looking for a mod that somewhere in it, whether main or just a side part, has a dragon helm. Not as in, flat faced with dragon features, as in actually dragon shaped. Full helm would be also be appreciated. I've been looking through TESnexus for the past 4 days looking for one like this but haven't found one. I know someone out there has also wanted one and actually had talent with modeling.
Remember: NO flat human like face to it. I dislike the human head for some reason.
I was suggested here for this.

Probably not what you are looking for but worth considering: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10832. No clipping with the method this mod uses.

Are there any mods that enables you to wear more rings and amulets WHILE they're visible on your fingers(rings)?
I know the top downloaded Unlimited Amulet and Rings on Nexus, but it removes the rings from your finger.

Anyone able to identify the mods in this pic?

so far i've found that it uses the OBGE with a certain shader, but i'm more looking for the body/face replacer's and what seems to be armor replacer? (going by the pic of the elven armor in the back, although it might just be the shader)

(and sorry if i'm not meant to post these kind of topics in this forum, not sure where else i would post it)

Showing more rings would require modification of the skeleton to provide more places at which rings could attach, you'd need scripts to track which ring is being worn on which finger etc. The skeleton changes might need the animations rebuilt so that the rings move with the hands. It's a huge amount of work for such a little cosmetic change.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but maybe you or someone else can modify the textures?

The first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was "Dark Cloud 2," but there don't seem to be any Oblivion mods that are designed to use that game's style. The style looks like cell shading that's only applied to characters, and not to environments.

For this sort of thing, though, I'd say your best bet is always the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1180069-mod-detectives-121/ Post your picture over there and see what they can do for you. Good luck!

Sorry Daindestruct, I went to merge your topic with the correct thread, but it ate your opening post. I blame gremlins. However, I can answer some of your questions about the pic:

OBGE- for the cel-shaded look.

Looks like Slof's Dogs is being used for the dog texture. I can't link to her site due to advlt content, but it's called Slof's Hive. You can also find her mods hosted at Wolflore.

The armor and long blue dress are both vanilla-ish. It looks like some minor tweaks have been added like the dropped shoulders on the dress, and the bare arms on the armor. Their hairstyles are Ren's and Saram's respectively. The bodies look like HGEC.

The blonde woman in the short dress looks like a Lineage 2 elf. The race is on TES Nexus, but I cannot link to it due to nudity. Her hair is from a no longer available mod called SKS Hair, and her outfit is called "Glorious Mage Dress"- try googling that name, since I don't have a link.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22136 is what you're looking for. It has a lot of other features as well, but those can be disabled using the included .ini.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24677 is a really cool mod that has a lot of tweakability, and a bnunch of other time related features (you can have time move faster or slower based on what you are doing, where you are etc.

PS: In before Ilius ;) He has made this recommendation like 5 time sin the last 5 days :D IIRC, I recommended Tekuromoto's excellent mod to him a few months ago, but I may be mistaken. :)

Anyone know a working journal mod? I've been looking for one for ages for multiple reasons.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15294 does not seem to work properly, everyone is reporting a pluggy error even if pluggy is installed correctly.
