Mod Detectives XXIX

See the first post. Again, please. This is NOT a general enquiries thread and you cannot have looked very hard, at all.

Now that you are here - see http://www.mwmythicmods.com/noglow.htm and Gluby [search members] has a more up to date list in this forum.

Oh, sorry :embarrass:
Still, thanks for help.

Good afternoon!

I have a mod that I'd like to take a look at, but can't seem to find online. In Samurai's Bitter Coast Compilation he refers to:

Fargoth's Hiding Place Improvements v1.1 - by APY

I've dug around through the usual sites without any luck. Anybody have a copy of this, or know where it might be posted? Some signs indicate it may have been posted around 2004 or so.

Mostly I'm curious what the modder thought would "improve" this quest, and what he did about it.

Rochndil, who (gasp!) will actually have something to post soon...

Good morning!

Have you tried a PM or email to APY?

I wasn't aware that APY was still around. I'll send a message shortly. Thanks!

AFAIK, APY is still the admin of Planet Elder Scrolls. I would guess the fastest way to get a message to him would be the "contact us" button on PES or else a PM on their forum.

Here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/wqjnmfgjgog/fargothshidingplaceimprovements11.zip, assuming APY does not object.

I'll take a look at that tonight. I'm curious just what has been "improved."

Hello. I am looking for a particular texture mod.
I don't know the artists all I can do is describe the texture I saw.
The mod contained a texture to what looks like a door to a tomb. The door is very old looking and has a hole cut into the center of it. Out of the hole there is what looks to be mold or decay pouring out from it. Vurt said he thought that it might have been Connary's, but I've downloaded his work and installed it, yet I checked a bunch of doors and I couldn't find the one i am describing. Please help!

I'm asking if someone have a mod called All New Faces Compilation by Tanjo. It's the only mods I wasn't able too get from Afroking's wonderfull, http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=994490. I tried too download it from the D/L location provided in the thread (http://download.cnet.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-III-Morrowind-Faces-Compilation-mod/3000-7539_4-10235014.html?tag=mncol;lst), but I wasn't able too download it from CNET. If anyone are in possession of this head replacer mod and have the time too upload it elsewhere your effort will be highly appreciated. I haven't done a thorough search beside some simple keyword search at PES and Yacoby's ES serach.

Yombie, some of the doors in Connary's Dunmer Stronghold Textures have holes cut in them. I don't believe they're used in any tombs and I don't remember ever seeing a similar door in another texture pack.

edit - And a request. :^) I'm looking for a rather old mod that replaced many of the game's visual spell effects. IIRC, it used hearts for healing effects but that's about the only specific thing I can think of. It'll probably be a miracle if anyone has this because I'm pretty sure it's very old and I don't believe it was ever very popular. Nevertheless, I will be very grateful if anyone can help me find this mod.

I am not at all vouching for the security of the site, or whether it was a legitimate (read: author approved) upload, but I did find it on a site http://software.techrepublic.com.com/abstract.aspx?docid=691027. Says you only need to go through the free registration, but I admit I didn't go that far with it.

Edit: Also, and probably more reliably, on http://www.fileplanet.com/125595/120000/fileinfo/Morrowind-Faces-Compilation-v1. Weird that it didn't come up through PES, if it's available here. Again, I didn't try the download.

And also: http://downloads.zdnet.com/abstract.aspx?kw=Morrowind&docid=691027&tag=content;col1.

I've had that happen repeatedly, even after searching on words that do appear in the title or description, or on the author.

Try one of these:
http://modhistory.fliggerty.com/index.php?dlid=1032
http://modhistory.fliggerty.com/index.php?dlid=1213.
I think the second one is really Spell Effects Enhanced v2.
Both are located at Morrowind Modding History.

Hello all. :) I'm trying to find a weapon rack container mesh resource released within about 3 years, I believe it was on these forums. I remember downloading it but do not recall who made it or what filename it was. I have ~30 gigs of mods and crap downloaded and searched through it but have been unable to find it, being as i don't recall the name.I also search the net best i can, google, es search, PES, TesNexus, Elric, etc. I don't recall if it was just the nif file or in an archive. It was a rack with weapons on it someone had nifskoped together from bethesda pieces.

Thank you, Lyssia, for the links to All New Faces Compilation by Tanjo. The FilePlanet one certainly works.

Looking through tanjo's readme, I see a reference to Eventide Companion also by tanjo.
I can find no other reference to it, nor recollection of it. Does anyone know if this mod was completed and if so, where I might find a copy?

One of my favorite game play balancing mod is http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4548 v1.3 by Vanhikes, but the newest version is only hosted at ElricM. I think it something like v1.4.xx . Unfortunately ElricM's file server seems too be down at the moment and it hasn't working for more the two weeks now. Is anyone able too upload it too a place like MediaFire ect. and give me the download link.

I've decided to install Morrowind and give it a whirl on my new PC, trying mods that I've always wanted to but never got around to.

Right now I'm looking for a mod that I've seen here in the mods forum posted some time ago (I'd guess about one or two years back).

It changed the path between Caldera and Balmora, making it more atmospheric by adding tall standing rocks and natural stone archways on either side of the road.

I've been looking for this mod but unfortunately I cannot remember the title or author. My search hasn't yet brought much result, and I'd be grateful of any assistance if someone has heard about this mod.

Thanks in advance.
