Mod Detectives XXVI, Tracking down hard to find mods

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 11:14 am

I used to have a mod that made your fatigue regenerate more quickly when you held down a certain key (the sneak key, I think), but I can't remember where it is or what it is called. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=3985 by Kirel sounds like what your looking for.

Hi again ;). I'm looking for Korana's Better Looking Liquor, Drugs, and Vials DV if it's possibly? The Elemental Salt add-on can be downloaded from her site, and that a bit odd I think. Why take the main mod down if the add-on is still legal for downloading. Just wondering. I know the Korana is retired from modding soo I will respect a no for sharing.
NB. the one I was able too track down was for the german version of the game, sadly.

I seem to recall a house mod that included an activator for retrieving alchemical ingredients by effect. Not storing ingredients; plenty do that. And not in Oblivion, either. Any ideas?

Yes, that was it. Thanks. Now, if I could only find some way to change its effects to mirror Sri's Alchemy.

I'm looking for Sign's - Banner's & Tapestry by Misty Moon.

I'm also looking for the fellowing mods by the same modder, but that's just a little joke:
Morrowind Re-Textured v1.2b FINAL (115MB)
Better Looking Morrowind (180MB)
and Patch v1.3 (12MB)
Hlaalu Stronghold Enhanced v1.1 (10MB)
Misty's Oblivion Splash Screens (26MB)

I don't expect anybody are willing or has time for uploading 343 MB too Rapidshare or mediafire and PM me the links
Actually, this would go directly against Misty Moon's wishes, from the readme:
Further it is also asserted that this work may NOT be re-uploaded or distributed to or from any Morrowind Modding database other then the one which the original Author has (have) uploaded or otherwise given written permission to. No re-distribution right is given to ANY user of this work by any means of transfer between users other then to direct other users to the official download location of the original Author choice.
When someone is that expicit about their wishes then it's very bad form to go against them, no?

Additionally i'm also looking for The Wolven from this site:

Looks like http://www.sabregirl.com/mods/wolven.html did a BB update.

There was a mod released several years ago of an imposing city on a new island, with marble-like textures. The modder had planned to create an entire, functioning city, but gave up, and issued everything as is: which meant essentially textures and meshes, no NPCs, etc. It was extremely attractive, and I'm thinking the word "temple" or "moon" may have been part of the title.

Sorted; contacted MistyMoon by email and permission was graciously provided.
See this thread: http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=988995.

We seem to have them all and they are being uploaded. So help yourself as they become available and don't be shy to help propagate them to other sites. :poke:

I am looking for a mod that allows the player (and possibly npcs) to sit in chairs, stools, etc. I http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1679that does this, but it only edits a few chairs, instead of all or close to it.

Also: Some more texture replacers, I have Morrowind Visual Pack v.3.0RC1 and practically everything by Connary and Darknut, but I'm still missing a bit. I also have HiRes Mournhold_v2.

See Post #1 please; not a general enquiries thread.

Doesn't exist.

Here; it is possible you have been directed to these links before:
There are a number of detailed lists and guides dealing with these questions that folk have taken the time to compose.

Have a look at BTB's excellent and fully-commented - http://btb2.free.fr/morrowind.html.

For faces, heads and hair - http://yacoby.silgrad.com/MW/Modlists/Facelist/index.php

For landmass or world textures Stebin's - http://sites.google.com/site/tespages/Home/retexturelinks

And http://morrowind2009.wordpress.com/, 'a 12-step tutorial guide to re-installing a better Morrowind.'

That guide has been amplified, expanded and explained in this extensive thread by BramblesMarlow - http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=956115&st=0.

I'm also a bit partial to the extensive lists of mods and other useful tools at http://www.mwmythicmods.com/.

This is just kind of a shot in the dark, but is there any mod out there that gives you a peg-leg? I distinctly remember my brother's character having a peg-leg at one point, but I'm not sure what's what about that, since all my searches turned up squat.

Are there a mod that let you merge mods together to reduce the number of mods?

I'm pretty sure the Construction Set lets you do that.

Great! Also:

This is not intended as a general enquiries thread. It is assumed that you are trying to find a specific mod, that you have made serious efforts to look for it yourself and that you will provide some identifying information so others can help you.
