Hi all!
I have a bit of an unusual request. At the moment I am doing my graduation research at the university of Leiden in the Netherlands. For this research I have developed a small mod and I am looking for participants who are willing to play this mod.
I can't give away too much about what I am researching since that will be a biasing factor for the playthrough of each participant. However, what I can tell you is that the general topic is 'Roleplaying and behavior' and that some of the actions you take during the game are measured.
In the research you will be given a character and you will play through a small scenario. The background story of the scenario is that you are exploring a (supossed) abandonded research facility looking for a cure for a disease which is raging through your hometown.
The goal of the playthrough is that you will try to play as if you were the character. In other words, roleplay the character.
I hope you would like to take the time to help me! Any participant will bring me closer to my graduation. And of course, you will help a greater cause, namely that of science!
For anyone who have played the mod and is interested in more details about the research I will send you a mail back with a bit more information as well as the final conclusion when I finished my graduation.
IMPORTANT:
At the end, a code is generated which is essentially the data of the playthrough. It would be hugely appreciated if you would write this code down or make a screenshot and mail this code to :
Skyrim.graduation@gmail.com
(alternatively, you could post it on this forum)
Also, please include your age.
I will not use your name or any other details in the research, so participating (apart from your age) is anonymous.
MOD SETUP & PLAYING THE MOD:
You can find the mod on the steam workshop. The title is 'Ancestral venture'
Or copy this link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=389779262
You can start the mod by pressing the 'new game' button. It will take you through some messages which you will need to read.
After, it will ask you if you have received a code. Since you didn't, you can answer that you haven't and it will take you to the beginning (which is a small introduction).
NOTE:
Im am not sure how the mod works with other mods such as 'alternate beginning' mods. I am using a bit of the same method to start an alternate start so that might clash. Also I am not sure how the mod works with other gameplay mods. So please consider switching those off.
