Mod grass on steroids question.

Post » Fri Jan 31, 2014 5:13 am

Hey guys I'm enjoying this mod but would like to make it so the grass isn't quite so tall. I read to go to the skyrim.ini and change it to 75 but I can't seem to find this file. I assume it's steamapps/skyrim folder but when I look I don't see this particular one.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Use the natural edition for short/vanilla-height grass. The .ini edits you mention are for the grass density, not the height, and the .ini is found in Docs/My Games/Skyrim.

I am using the Natural Edition with that setting at 60. I am not entirely convinced it makes a lot of difference. It does not even seem to affect fps.

I did use the SFO Edition with Skyrim Flora Overhaul for a while, but there were far too many lupins and the tall grass was really hard to see through, especially when sneaking. It reminded me of Oblivion, which is my least favorite TES game of all time.

So I am using Natural GOS now.
