Mod incompatibility with Battlehorn Castle?

Hey,

I already posted this in the bugs/technical subforum, but I thought that maybe someone here may have some idea.
I reinstalled Oblivion under 64bit Win7 and have some problems with Battlehorn Castle DLC.
It installed just fine and I was able to liberate it, but for some reasons the quests/scripts don't seem to work right.
E.g. the dwemer forge provides no bonus and I can't create trophies - I can deliver animal parts, but the trophies never show up, no matter how long I wait.

So I thought there could maybe be some conflict between mods?
I'm using the latest Shivering Isles patch.

Not included right now is the Unofficial Official DLC patch, which I also used.

Your load order is all kinds of messed up. Get BOSS, or use the BOSS master list (see link in my sig).

Well, I did that but it changed exactly nothing.
I also reinstalled Battlehorn and ran Oblivion without any mods except Shivering Isles and Battlehorn Castle.
So I guess it's not mod related.

One last question:
Does anybody know if you should do something like a "clean save" after deactivating mods?
It helps with some issues with Fallout 3 sometimes.

Make sure you have lock times unchecked in wrye bash before using BOSS to set your load order, or it will not work.

The only real issue I see is Battlehorn is loading ahead of the UOP. Move it down. On a load order that small, manually putting it after the alternate start mod will probably work just fine.

I'm not using Wrye Bash.
And checking in OBMM the load order has been changed.
But as I said, I tried it without any other mods enabled.
Even after waiting 4 days in my house in IC harbor in order for the cells to respawn, without any mods and activating only BHC after this it would still not work correctly.
After waiting 4 days without any mods at least the Dwemer Forge was finaly working, but I would still not see any trophies.
How long are you supposed to wait again? I thought it would be 24 hours...

You really should use Wrye Bash - especially for the UOP and Fran's.

You might try doing a clean save on BHC... failing that, try giving the taxidermist another body part? I use it myself, and I've never run into the problem you've got.

Interestingly I cannot give another part of the same creature to the taxidermist, yet the stuffed animal doesn't show up.
I checked on a clean save without any mods and it still didn't work correctly (although the forge finaly worked) so I guess it's not mod related.

Does someone remember if you really have to wait 24 hours?
I once had an issue with waiting and Frans day-length rescale, but as I had the mods switched off this shouldn't be the case here.

Maybe it is an Win7/64bit issue, as it always worked under XP 32bit for me.

Could be, yeah... I'm using XP, so I can't help there. :( I don't know if I have the taxidermist or not (I don't get over to the castle much) but I'm fairly sure you have to wait 24 hours after giving her the body part to see the creature show up.

Have a look at the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Fighter%27s_Stronghold - they explain it all there. I believe she delivers the trophies at exactly 10 am, so it's not quite 24 hrs, though if it doesn't show, I'd give it another day.

I do not see the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/851575-relz-unofficial-official-mods-patch-v15 should be using that to fix the various problem etc..

Thanks all for the advice.
For now I have disabled it as I'm anyway playing the SI.

I also had used the Unofficial Battlehorn patch, but I think it only fixes minor problems like wrong text and a few textures.
