A mod to let me wait months at a time? D:

Instead of the usual 24 hour limit imposed on you by the default wait menu. Would be very nice to have if such a thing exists. ^-^ Did some searching as usual and I found More Immersive Waiting which would allow you to wait indefinitely, alas it didn't want to work properly for me at all. >.<

Not quite the same thing, but Automatic Timescale adds an immersive wait feature where you can keep hitting a hotkey repeatedly to bump up the timescale by a certain amount (like 60) each time you press it. Press it 40 or so times and you could watch a month go by in 18 mintes of real life time. More presses = faster time passing, so pressing the key 100 times should give you something like a week every 30 seconds. The game was definitely not designed for such high timescales though, so I don't know if this could have any side effects....

...can I ask why you'd want to wait for a month? Does your character have a birthday?

just set your timscale to 30000 for a while then turn it back down again, thats what i do.. oooooh allmost forgot, if you do that, go inside before doing it.. or the game could crash..

Maybe his char is pregnant, and he doesn't want to go around killing Daedra in the last trimester, endangering the baby.

Doesn't one of the various vampire mods make it take a year in-game after your turning before you receive all of your vampiric powers? Could be something like that.

This mod allows you to wait for as long as you wish, take a look at it and see if it might be what you are looking for. :)

Maybe it is because of that quest in Chorrol castle with the missing painting... I guess the OP is waiting for the reward...

An even faster way to move time would be to go into the console and type:

player.setcrimegold 36500

Then go talk to a guard and choose prison time. Yes you will lose some stats, but it shouldn't be too bad.

At that level though, wouldn't they just try and kill you out of hand?

NO! Because that would make sense. I miss the days of Morrowind where guard figured your not worth incarcerating.

You could be right. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=40339 went up on the nexus a short while ago.

No, that's not what I meant. There's been a pregnancy mod (including realistic menstrual cycle) out for Oblivion for years now; depending on how you set it up, it works for the (female) PC too. Running around and fighting while in the later stages of pregnancy in this mod carries the risk of miscarriage, as it should.
