Mod List Request

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:28 pm

So I've not finished Oblivion yet because some things annoyed me about it but I want to finish it before Skyrim comes out and so I can read tIC. So my questions are:

1) Is there a mod to take away all elvel scaling and loot scaling?
2) What utilities should I have? Script extenders? Graphics extenders?
3) Is there a list of graphics mods?
4) Is there a list of combat enhancers?
5) Anything else I'll need?

Thanks in advance.

It was just the graphics and combat that annoyed you? but there's so many other annoying things in Oblivion! ... if there were any other annoyances feel free to list them.

First off the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?showtopic=1010109 has lists for graphics mods and combat mods.

You'll also probably want something like Hear No Evil, Reneer's Guard Overhaul, etc. for the "all knowing guards!" issue.

Can't think of much else off the top of my head... the unofficial patch obviously...

EDIT:
1: check http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/820948-scaling-overhaul-comparison/
2: Obse, Wrye bash, OBMM, and you know... just search the word "extender" on tesnexus.

Ha ha point taken. I should have been more diplomatic. Thanks for the pointers.

I forgot to mention creature mods. I'd love me some varied creatures.
