I'll use retex's, difficulty tweaks if the game is too easy (hope not), add new content like spells, weapons, armor, w/e that is balanced and fits into Skyrim's world. Then I'll build my own houses in the Creation Tool that fits my current character. I'm gonna build a tower for my mage and little hideout for my rogue in one of the cities.

I answered no to both, though I probably will use mods, eventually, though not until I've got half a dozen thorough playthroughs under my belt.

I will defiantly be making mods for Skyrim...

What kind? impossible to say until I see the new creation kit / play the game.

I do have a generic short list of some ideas I can pretty much all but guarantee I am going to try but if I tell you well then I'd have to.... :shocking:

Bethesda don't make games that are perfect without modding. Some of what mods offer is preference, like extended day length or magica regen rate, but some is practically essential, like a good UI mod, while other stuff unquestionably just makes the game better, like high res texture packs, or added foliage. The only reason to not use mods is because you can't be bothered, or because you're afraid of breaking something, but of course there's always stuff that can be improved upon in the game, and that's what a lot of mods aim to do. Some are unsuccessful, but others are successful.

I will most definitely use mods with Skyrim. I use mods for just about every game whose community members take time out to create them. Probably won't be using them until my second or third playthrough though, in order to experience the game as it was intended and also to give modders sufficient time to put some good stuff out there. A lot of player created content actually turns out better than some of the official DLC packs released by Bethesda, and like I said, its free so where is the downside to that?

For me mods is a HUGE part of Bethesda's games. They are the very reason the game will actually last for years,
instead of just weeks, or maybe even months. I love Bethesda for their support of this in giving us pretty much the
exact same tools to play with, as they used to create the game in, in the first place. This is pure awesomeness on
their behalf. Thanks to this, Bethesda games also have the finest modding community of all games, imo. I can't wait
to see what they will cook up this time. I think, more, and better, than ever before. I hope to see many of the big
names in modding, and modding teams, come back for Skyrim. I think they will. The temptation is just too big not
to with a game of this magnitude.

I'm definitely using mods in Skyrim.
In fact, mods are the reason that i play Morrowind to this day.

Can we please have Kafei Spectacles + Myopia mod in Skyrim please?
That was one of the first mod i installed in Oblivion, so cool

I will very likely use a few select mods, depending on what I think of the vanilla game - though I'm likely to be fairly choosy. And when I've exhausted my interest in the game, I'll fire up the Creation Kit (and Blender, and Gimp :)) and get a few hundred more hours of fun :D.

I might try my hand at a romance/companion mod, but I might also try to mod in a Dwemer flying machine.

Nothing stops me from buying Skyrim for my PC. But I'll be getting it for PS3 and play without mods.

That's a shame, the dev themselves admit some modders made a better work than themselves (OOO).

Of course I'll use mods, after a vanilla playthrough (well maybe not entirely vanilla, if there is a mod which improve the inventory on PC by example I may use it directly, or another mod which disable fast travel) I'll probably add some of them. And I'll make some. First to change some constant that bother me in the game and balance it my way, and maybe I'll do something more ambitious after that.

There is no poll option for folks like me! :D I'll play Skyrim just like Oblivion. I'll play Vanilla on the 360, mods on the PC and I'll have a total blast with both.

I cannot possibly be the only person that will enjoy both Vanilla and modded versions.

Definitely will be using mods and making them.

Will probably only use content mods. Questlines, armours/weapons etc. Doubt i'll be touching anything like Oscuros etc.

I did do a bit of modding for Oblivion. My problem was i tried to go for new landmass (small island) and the epic questline. I just ended up getting bored of it and stopping, and moving on to other bits and pieces of mods.

My plan this time around is just focus on smaller stuff. Small questlines that add to the existing villages etc. Already know what my first mod will be. That way i shouldnt get bored and should finish them. Which should encourage me on the next one.

I do eventually plan on making a new landmass+questline, which is sorta mapped out.
But the plan is just to use this landmass as a place to go and just be creative with various ideas.
Been noting down stuff for few months now and will just be trying to piece it all together and make an interesting land, and then move on to the questlines etc.

But this is more of a fallback and will be in no rush to complete it.
