Taking a leaf (and this post) from Buddah the generous, I've decided to create this thread in which anyone who is wondering if a mod exists can post what they're looking for and anyone who wishes to will try to find that mod for you.

Please remember folks, this thread is for people who DON'T KNOW whether the mod they are looking for exists, and have tried to find it but had no luck.

If, on the other hand, an event in which the Mod Detectives Thread is lock'd, one can enquire here until Buddah opens up another Mod Detectives Thread.

Please refrain from requesting information with abbreviations, slang and leet.....they are difficult to understand even for the native English speakers hereabouts. Plus, it's annoying.

The more information and specific the request, the better the chances of getting a fitting response. General enquiries will result in a lot of mods that we think are what you meant.

Is there a high resolution/more detailed texture replacer for creatures?
Is there one for armor and weapons?

I've been searching high and low and so far I have a slaughterfish retexture, the guard armors in M.E.A.T. (which aren't that much more detailed), and glass armor.

I'm looking for a mod that...

Disables the mouse wheel zoom in/out function A.K.A vanity mode so I can just have it on the keyboard and use the mouse wheel for something else.

Something that makes jumping more realistic.

Something that will make it so when in houses etc. weather noise will stop. I think All Natural adds weather sounds in doors.

A mod that lets you turn your horse with your mouse, basically makes it controlled like the player.

Also looking for a way to get the Bashed Patch Unlimited Rings and Amulets feature to only allow 10 rings and 5 amulets to be worn at a time, or a mod to use instead that does this.

This one isn't a huge increase, it's not the most recent either, but the textures are nice and work with vanilla meshes if you want so it's compatible with mods that add more diversity.

A few:

- Fallout3-style hotkey to "take all" in the loot interface.
- I have unbound the Main Menu from the Escape key - I want Escape to always escape from UI screens: merchants, loot screens, dialogue, and inventory/map/stats/spells mainly. Have tried Menu Escape but it doesn't really do what I want.
- Single-press hotkey casting, without confining me to using particular keys.

Thanks. The weather issue is sounds from the inside. Weather - All Natural I am using, and I still hear weather when inside so IDK. This may only be during storms or something though which makes sense. The jump thing I was referring to was the moon jumping appearance. I don't want to float jump. Everything else was dead on thanks!

Also, is there a mod that makes it so tails will show through robes? Also is there a mod that makes it when your weapon is not out your shield is on your back? Tyco's shield mod is messy and seems like it would be a better way.

I'm looking for a mod that adds a few pieces of classy female clothing for Exnem/HGEC bodies. I've tried a couple of the big collections, eg Apachii Goddess Store, but for me, most of this stuff is wildly over the top. I don't want my character and her female companions to look like pole dancers, I also don't want out of context stuff, eg French maid outfits. I just want my girls to show a bit of cleavage/shoulder/leg when it suits them. At one poin,prior to a complete reinstall, my character had a nice black silk slinky number with a golden dragon on it. it may have come from the Apachii store. That kind of thing.

Ideally I want a few nice outfits added to an existing trader for sale, no fancy quests or uber enchanted gear.

Any suggestions?
