Mod questions !SPOILERS!

Post » Wed Jul 09, 2014 7:49 pm

Because of my dislike of vampires killing NPC's in the Dawnguard DLC, One dear to me says I should install the game on my pc, that way have the mods I want, and uncheck the dawnguard dlc.. Problem solved!

My questions are this. Before I make this leap and install the day one disc He bought me  :

Is there a reliable mod that stops people from giving you quests because they walked by you and said something?

-Vibrant mod redone?

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/648/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D648%26preview%3D&pUp=1

-Mod that stops forcing housecarls on me? Stops forcing me to be Thane? I'm just going to kill them you know..-shrug-

"I don't want to be special. I just want to be one of the common rabble" as Jarl of Whiterun calls them.

-Mod that turns back on the lighthouse of Solitude after doing that quest? Alternately makes Argonian male killable..

-Mod that stops the civil war from being forced on me? Even in main quest it is forced.. I must deal with their posturing and threatening and

-Mod that stops dragons from attacking after main quest?

-What body mod? I didn't use one before but the gap between neck and head on my ps3 is appauling.. Really -smh-

Something that is the natural shape of a woman, not a porm star.

That's all I can think of .. Anyone want to help me get those boxes down?.. -lol-

-edit- cleaner clothes mod that does not look like it was sewn with yarn by a five year old in the dark.?

-children that do not all look alike? Is pretty creepy that..

Argonian kids? Khajiit kids? Redguard, bosmer, Orc, et al kids?

Skyrim Unbound lets you decide if you want to be Dragonborn or a common person who can't absorb dragon souls.

Body mods vary but I like Dimonized UNP.

Arthmoor released when vampires attack....it causes all the normal people to run into houses and what not and leaves the fighting to those more attuned to it.

Heres a link:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28235/?

Arthmoor also released run for your lives..does the same thing as above except its for dragons.

You could use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53602/? that way no one can die, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47811/?http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38151/? is great for choosing when you want certain quests to start not sure if it covers the Civil War buthttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26660/?should take care of that for you and if designed to work with Timing is Everything. There is also http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14157/?. I don't know about the others maybe someone else can help you with those. There are save files available that have finished the main quest if you want to go that way but I wouldn't.

Or, you can get a mod that delays the Dawnguard quest, or you can get a mod that tells the NPCs to run away from Vampires (and Dragons for that matter) so they don't get killed. Or, you can get a mod that stops the town attacks by the Vampires all together. Not sure if there is one that does the same for Dragons.

There are lots of mods that can change how Dawnguard affects the base game.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51813/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2674/? might help

You have a few options here for the first. The latest kid on the block is http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55555/? which looks very impressive. I use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/searchresults/?src_order=1&src_sort=0&src_view=1&src_tab=1&src_name=TK__children&src_language=0&src_showadvlt=1&page=1&pUp=1 which strikes a fair balance between more diversity and keeping children children. Other children mods lean more towards making them tiny grownups.

There is one mod for the second part, but it is truly hideous, and I can't recommend it at all. It is an addon for Xvision Children Redone, search nexus for it and it comes up.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55555/ looks like the best one so far, but there's also http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49756/ and the first mod to attempt this - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38712/.

Edit: :ninja: Ninja'd damn it!
