so, im working on a small kit of weapons and armor to get the player started out, but my problem is that im adding a scopeless hunting revolver, only.. there isnt one.. now i can remove the scope fuctionality itself easily but the scope on the top of the gun, isnt so easily removed.

so is there a nice little mod out there that adds a unique hunting pistol that doesnt have a scope? a replacer wont do me any good though.

There is the Ranger Sequoia, which is the same type of revolver as the Hunting Revolver, but no scope, and custom paint scheme, including the NCR Bear on the handle (which you can't really see when holding it).
Maybe is that what you are looking for?
It uses the same ammo as the Hunting Revolver, .45-70 Gov't., and can use the HR to be repaired.
It is a unique item only found on NCR Rangers, but if you are making a mod you can add it in there easily enough.
