A mod to shoot out some of the lights?

Ignorant question incoming...

don't know if this has even been modded into a Bethesda game before, but would it be possible to create a mod to allow the player to shoot out some of the more glaringly bright lights? I like playing stealth characters, and I think it would be fun to be able to take these lights out while you're sneaking around a dungeon. Is that even feasible?

I know it was possible in Skyrim with arrows - there's a water arrow mod.

But I'm not sure it'd be possible with Fallout since I don't think it renders the bullets.

Plus it'd require scripting, which we aren't able to do until the GECK comes out.

Shooting them out is one thing, but did it actually change anything with the way the game engine calculated whether you were seen or not. That is what is really important.

Of course, the game bases it off the light. That's why mods that make nights darker and such make sneaking at night much easier.

Thanks for the info. We'll see what happens when the GECK is released.
