I installed several Mods from Nexus Fallout 3 Using the Fallout Mod Manager from same site. Anyway after install I was very near end of game first time through in Easy mode and all is right with the world. So I finish the game, Roll credits Blah Blah Blah. Start new game in Hard mode get to the first time kid starts the Pip-Boy 3000 ,and it won't close. Opens just fine but it wont close....tried every button on the keyboard. If Pip won't close it's game over world is in freeze state until I can figure out what happened, or at least what I can do to move it along. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thank You. Not sure that the Mods are responsible, maybe they are suspect because of timing. I also have the Pitt and Operation Anchorage add on pack installed at about the same time, so there's another suspect.

If you don't mention what mods you're trying out then it's impossible for anyone to offer any advice on how to fix your problem. You could easily find out yourself which mod it might be if you simply disable each one until the problem disappears.

Well to get back to you. i disabled every thing except the original database and the problem persisted. so i un-installed the whole thing, deleted all of the folders. then reinstalled the original and the expansion pack only. It has no mods and it works great. I guess I will never know what caused the problem in the first place. We can mark this topic closed. if somebody can tell me how to do that.
