Mod stability: Armorsmith, Storms + intr. Light, DarkerNight

Post » Fri Mar 25, 2016 1:44 am

With the DLC and the upcoming survival mode I wanted to begin a new playthrough of F4, and add those mods from the headline.

You're not able to save freely on Survival, so I'm fearing a bit about the game stabilty, especially with added mods (and no creation kit)

Is anyone running some of those or even all of them and can report on stability?

Mods in question:

  • Full Dialog Interface

  • True Storms

  • Interiors Enhanced - Darker Ambient Light and Fog

  • Darker Nights

  • Armorsmith Extended

Those should be fine as far as I'm aware of. I like Crafting Workbenches over Armorsmith though. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2451/?

Aren't camping supplies also added with the next patch ?

The feature list mentions bedrolls, and that they allow you to save but with some slight penalties

I'd like the armorsmith addon primarily for the combination of otherwise illegal armor combinations, e.g. wearing helm + bandana.

Interiors Enhanced is currently having issues with interiors added by Automatron. Walls and other parts of the new interiors will randomly flicker or turn invisible. So you'll have to wait for an update on that one.
