A mod that didn't deactivate?

I had evergreen downloaded but then I deactivated it but the trees still a have leaves is there a problem with my load order?

Was it installed via FOMOD? You have to uninstall a texture replacer 100% to get rid of the replaced textures. If it was installed manually, you have to look for and delete the new textures.

It was installed using FOMOD how do I uninstal a texture replacer?

If it was installed using the FOMOD then you should be able to uninstall it completely with no harm using FOMM.

edit: I think you go in the package manager and right click -> delete to uninstall it, but I'm not 100% on that as I barely ever use FOMODs.

I completely deleted evergreen but it had no effect what else could I do?

A new window will pop up to show you the mods that you can activate and deactivate. Click the mod you wish to deactivate to highlight it and then click the deactivate button. Think of it as packaging the whole thing back up again.

Did you ever install any tree mods manually? Go to Data\Textures and see if you have a folder called "trees".

Cause if you didn't deactivate it (if it was an FOMOD) the textures/meshes are still in folders and since you may have been asked if it was ok to overwrite a vanilla texture/mesh, they will still be in your folders.

I deactivated it then deleted it but obviously that didn't matter cause the effect is still active?

Ok, if you deactivated the FOMOD the way I had described and then deleted it, and you are sure it isn't another mod that is making changes to those leaves, make a clean save. Go inside a building and wait 3 days (or how ever long you have your game set for things to respawn, or just wait 7 days to be on the safe side) then save. Exit your game, then load up your game again using that save, and walk outside to see if things changed.

P.S. Someone correct me if that information is wrong please.

Do you still have the zip file of the mod you're trying to remove? If so, re-extract it, to your desktop. Open up your Fallout Data folder, in a separate window, and follow the folders to make sure what Evergreen (and/or Summer) added has been removed.
If alll files are gone yet the game is unchanged then what Miss Sparkle suggested is all I can think of as well.

That's the way I do it with any persistant mods that just don't seem to be deleting. Re-unzip the original download (if I didn't keep it I go and re-download it) then see if I've missed a folder or a file.
I had the same issue with an Autumn mod that changed the colors of the tree leaves. I ended up finding a folder that I didn't think was used, but it ended up being the one that fixed it all and got rid of the autumn look for good.

They are all most likely persistent objects and are integrated into the savegame. Get rid of the savegames affected, and you should be fine.

If this is the same Evergreen as http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7806 Then there is no .ESP's or .ESM's it only conatins Meshes and Textures. And you would have to manualy remove them.( i had it once and had to manauly remove them.)
