Mod which rebuilds the Bruma Mages Guild?

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 2:20 pm

Yeah... Anyone knows of a mod which rebuilds the Bruma Mages Guild after the Mages Guild quest? It doesnt matter if there is a quest for it.

There is a nice, clean one - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12732 that I always have had in my game since it was released. No big quest around it, but it quietly and appropriately restores the guild in the aftermath of the MG questline activity. Very nicely done mod.

EDIT: Unfortuantely they add a spellmaker... Slightly overpowering according to me... Ah well... I will just not use it I guess,

A lot of mods add spell makers. I liked this one because it added a mage who can enchant, etc. :) But yeah, they are easy enough to ignore.

Well those "a lot of mods" are the mods I dont use :P
They destroy the "Ooooh, wow!!!" feeling from the Arcane University.

And a mage who can enchant... Hm... I dont know... They could in Morrowind... But just adding such things out of the blue sky is slightly... bad. Ah well. I guess I will just ignore it.

why not just use the console to disable that feature? Or even edit the esp to remove it?

A decidedly useful little mod for those suffering from your problem :)

Hm... Not impossible... Atleast the mod seems good.

It says the mages guild hall can be toggled... If I un-toggle it will it conflict with the former mod Leyenne recommended? It seems possible it will...

Origin of the mages guild does a pretty decent job of rebuilding the bruma guild. can be used together with mannimarco resurrected

Barenziahlover: Okay... I will check out there.

Schtan: Good :) Can Mannimarco Resurrected be toggled on before I complete the Mages Guild main quest? Or must it be after?

Both mods can be enabled at the same time, and before or after the completion of the mages guild quest line, whatever your preference. I always have both mods enabled.

I spoke perhaps too soon about omg and mannimarco resurrected compatibility....

spoiler alert: (hoe do you enable spoiler tags?)

Do the mannimarco resurrected questline first....involves the rebuilding of the bruma guild....and then further down the quest line (if following the mages guild line and not the necromancer line) the bruma guild will be destroyed again. finish the quest line.
Disable the bruma guild door by accessing the config book in the battlemage quartes.
Do the origin of the mages guild quest line which involves rebuilding of the bruma guild chapter house ( and does a much better job at it I think)
