Modded Deadliest Warrior Tournament

@Gurkog- everything is fine but your artifact. You will need to change amber longsword for something that is an artifact.

And yes as Dragatus said you may indeed use expensive items if you can affrd them, they arent artifacts XD

I think it would be cool for in future tournaments (if there are any) for the final battle to be fought at level 44 because that way it would be possible for the finalists to have master rank in certain skills. Also, if you think we need more contestants I'd love to submit another character

I feel dirty because I am not making an Orc......

EDIT: Maybe if Orcs had 10% magic resist instead of the 40 health.... :P

If I make it to the final round and meet Morvalien there, I hope the Ebony Blade annoys her!

If we pick a magic item that uses light armor in the list will it be changed to a heavy armor item if that is our chosen armor skill/set?

I disagree. At level 41 characters will have 90 in major skills from their specialization and 65 in major skills not from their specilization. Racial bonuses are +10 which means they just push skills to 100 or 75. If the characters were level 44 specialized majors would be 94 and non-specialized majors would be 68 so still no master skills, but you do get wasted racial bonuses.

I think level 41 is perfect for epic fights.

Let's say you have an Ebony Longsword enchanted with 20 points of elemental damage and your Blade skill is 78 (level 26, specialized in combat, racial bonus). You do 15 physical damage + 20 elemental damage per strike. Let's say evrybody has a basic 50 AR from the heavy armor they are wearing. So enemies take 27.5 damage per hit before you factor in bonuses from race, birthsign, and magic apparel.

At level 26 an NPC warrior would have about 180 health. It takes 7 normal hits to kill him (blocking and power attacks mess up the numbers somewhat, but let's assume they balance eachother out). If he has 20% Resist Magic that saves him 4 damage per hit so in 7 hits it reduces damage by 28. As you can see 30 extra health is in line with 20% resit magic and much better than 10% Resist Magic.

The actual power of 30 Fotfy Health of course depends on level. At level 26 it's in line with the other effects, at level 41 it 's underpowered, but at levels 16 and 21 it's overpowered. So if you compare an Orc and a Redguard, the Redguard might be more likely to win the final match but the Orc is more likely to get to the final match in the first place.

If I make it to the final round and meet Morvalien there, I hope the Ebony Blade annoys her!

Gurkog the Hapless would be lucky to get in a single hit before he gets reduced to ashes.

I tried to come up with a reflect damage + resist elemental damage Khajiit build but the combination of gear I would use comes up a bit under 200 over budget. The humanity of it all! I was really looking forward to 35% reflect damage and 50% resist element damage... If I went 40% resist elements I would lose 20% when I switch to the Chorrol shield for the final round. Having about 2/3 reflect damage while wearing no armor combined with nice elemental resist would be sweet! :P

EDIT: @Dragatus: Using your weapon example a person hitting the khajiit would do about as much damage to themselves as to him!

EDIT 2: I think the graphic for absorb health may disappear if you get too far from your target, BUT the effect continues to full duration.

That is true if you only consider physical damage. 1/3 gets reflected, 1/3 is absorbed by armor, 1/3 comes through. So you both take 5 points of physical damage, but you still have to consider the 20 elemental damage from the enchantment on the weapon.

If you have armorer selected does it upgrade the armor value of any magic items you choose from that armor class?

EDIT: Just want to know because it will effect my armor value by up to 14 and that kind of negates the effects I chose.

No I forgot to edit that out, it only gives you a 1000 gold bonus to your spending money.

Your char looks good but I cant give you any poisons as you dont have alchemy as a major skill. Also If I can ask, whats the imperial shield? Is it the guard shield? If so which one?

@Trannigan I believe the Alchemy skill will reduce your budget by 1000, but you can only buy 100 worth of potions from the list. That is however plenty of poisons/healing for the money as you will probably get 2x and 3x as many of your selected items later in the tourney and it is quite potent during the early rounds. You should probably look into making a set of magic gear with rest of your budget.

Ah nevermind about the poisons then, I will just find magick gear and edit it in, and yeah the Imperial shield is the guard shield, just the standard kind not the white palace guard kind.
