Most modder's resources aren't placed in the world at all.

So, you'd have to dowload and install the resource (which usually is meshes/textures/sounds etc.) into your Data directory. Then you have to use the Construction Set to get the items in game. If it's a weapon, you have to create a new weapon and point it toward the model you downloaded. Same for most general items.

Once you've created the item, you have to place it in the world somehow. Simplest way is to open a cell in the Render window, then just drag the new item into that cell.

Save the file you've made, enable it for the game, and you should find it where you placed it.

There are also script resources, but that is more complicated.

I know it all ... I made lots of mods by now (for personal use most of them) but never used modders resources , so I tried to use Palisade Walls and make a town with them , but I cant find them in construction set.

Ah, okay.

I think that's essentially the same thing, though. You have to go to the Statics/architecture section, right click on any item and choose "new" and then assign the NIF file to the new item.

Unless you are supplied with an ESM file that already includes them, or an ESP file that you are meant to convert into your new mod that also already includes them.

To simplify it with a lot of nifs, you can drag them out of windows explorer and drop them into the architecture section of the CS and they will all be available then.

They appear in alphabetical order. When you add some thing new, it gets a new FormID (but, you know this already). Expand the "FormID" column in the CS and click on it. It will arrange all of the items by FormID number instead of name, starting with the newest (if not, click on it again). Your new items should then be at the top of the list.
