modding advice

how can I update an old mod to work with cobl, ooo and mmm, if in fact it can be related to any of the three

ingredients from all three and gear from MMM and OOO.

Arrow forge is the mod.
I somehow need to make it so that it will
1. recognize the alchemy ingredients abilities
2. equate the items from ooo and mmm with vanilla base item materials IE imperial armors being made from steel or fine steel, rusty iron being made from iron.

if the second is too involved, it is not a big deal to omit, but linking the ingredients abilities of
the gem dusts, the ingredients from previous games in would be greatly appreciated

You would first need the modder's permission. Linking into big mods like OOO and MMM does not sound like an easy chore. MMM already has hunting and crafting.

emailed the original modder. I think a safer approach would be the one I emailed you, if I can find out how to do that, it would play well with any other mod that introduces alchemy ingredients


while waiting for the original modders response, I am doing this for my personal use.
