Yep that's exactly right.
Apparently Mods will be exclusive to Xbox One because of windows 10. I... don't know what to make of it all. I'm really disappointed.
i'm still not convinced that's not just referring to "mods" built with that in-game editor
edit: just saw the ms-presentation, todd explicitely said "...mods made on the pc transferred to the xbox", which totally wouldn't make any sense if it was just about in-game created stuff. finally convinced now.
And people are talking about modding for Doom. The Doom thing was closer to a level editor than modding. I would liken it to creating a skate park in Skate 3 or something. Granted, it looks pretty detailed and complex, but I wouldn't call that modding.
I was hyped but this really took a chunk out of my hype, I can't believe Beth took the Microsoft money and screwed ps4 players again.
Yeah I'll wait for the GOTY version or when the GOTY version price is $40 or something. I lost all interest now. I can't justify giving them the same amount of money as someone on the XB1 but getting a inferior version.
Heh.. wonder if I'll have to get a new operating system ...
I wouldn't mind this since modders make some great looking gear. I agree that they will have a filter system :/

Clearly you have forgotten the previous FO4 hoaxes. Terror of Death is correct: Only info explicitly labeled as coming from official Beth PR should be believed. Everything else is potential hoaxer trolling.
I think the mouth of Todd Howard counts as official Beth PR lol
A SKSE wouldn't be possible on xbox one, plus the limitations of graphical mods. Still, even if users of that console can only run a subset of mods -without the need of hacking their consoles- that is already a improvement.
They will never try that again. And if they do they will mostlikely get the same backlash as when they tried with skyrim. And they really don't want that, bethesda does as far as I have seen atleast like there community. And they don't seem to want it to split up and go for eachothers (and there own) throats like when they tried with the paid mods. Tho it would be nice to see something like a good donate system, so you can give money if you want to, Not that you have to.
sorry, I think I was not clear.
I'm not interested in that kind of mod. The graphics are already cool.
What I want is to download more weapons and equipment.
So FO3 goes with them and that's been announced Exclusive, Mods hasn't got the term 'exclusive ' YET, but what will really kill me is if Beth approached Sony with any of this due to being the bigger market right now, and got turned down because "sony doesn't see this as value for gamers " bull, but if Sony turned them down that will leave a bad taste in my mouth, as even though I owned both consoles last gen, I refused an Xbox due to their back tracking and lying.
Eh I'm just waiting for Bethesda excuse for this deal with MS and screwing over people on the PS4.
You can use mods on the Xbox One. But still need a pc (and the pc edition) to create them.
Have you ever played a Bethesda game on a Sony system ever?
If you have, it should be quite clear its a hardware/structure issue, not some conspiracy.
