Todd said they are hoping to get them on PS4, so there's no confirmation yet.

But it does confirm that it's not a Xbox exclusive feature. :)

Im waiting for word from Sony on them giving an okay on their end. Bethesda is on board, highly doubt it's a technical issue. So if there is an issue it'd be Sony.

They got a deal with M$ to sell consoles... TH cannot just say it will come to PS4 100000% confirmed....

Also Sony is dominating the market and the PS4 version will sell more so Bethesda cannot ignore Sony.

I'm a Sony fan boy, but I wouldn't go that far. Microsoft and Sony are always in a perpetual struggle to dominate. The issue with modding, to my knowledge, was never one of technical issues and favouritism, it was a legal issue.

At least this way I can mod a the more traditional dialogue system back into Fallout 4.

I'm honestly surprised that Microsoft and Sony would be on board with this, previous mentions of console modding have not been received well by them. Makes me wonder what their motivation behind allowing modding could be.

Im giving facts, PS4 sold around x2 over the X1.

Sony also secured the best exclusives so far...

That was my understanding as well. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought Microsoft was always for allowing mods to be used on their consoles but Sony balked because mods could (and would) go against content allowed by their EULA.

I'm thinking Bethesda always wanted Sony on board as well and sort of forced their hand by announcing Microsoft agreed to it when they did. The last part was just speculation.

There's obviously a deal... it's just that even Microsoft knows that no one should be proud about a timed exclusive deal.

We need to spam the Sony Higher-ups Twitter accounts with our want for some comment from Sony, Beth seems to want it, gamers want it. Now Sony needs to want it.

Agreed. Hopefully Sony might say something at their conference tonight or in the Q&A after.

It'll very much be a technical issue if libraries aren't available and modders don't want to program for 3 different platforms...

Plus if M$/Sony don't allow script extender no point in even bothering as all the really good mods require it.

Haha true, by technical limits I meant that I doubt the PS4 can't handle a nod system in any form. I completely understand that most of the epic mods will not be feasible. I just want some more items mainly lol.

I wouldn't mind mods on the PS4.

But I'm the type of guy who feels like mods detract from the game. To me it 'stains' the game.

Balls in Sony's court, not Beth's. Any blame for no mods on PS4, should go to sony. I don't see Sony being that dumb to reject this.

Well, if there was a technical issue with mods, DLC's would have the same technical issue.

100% agree. Sony has really tried to "do the right thing" by us gamers this gen. So even if it turns out they say no, there will be a huge uproar from the ps4 fanbase. And we'd probably see a 180 on the decision.

We do not know how mods are going to work on the X1 and or PS4. Maybe it will just be a bust, especially if the mods do not play well on the consoles. We all know that mods do not always work as intended, especially when using more than one mod.

I think what will happen is that modders wont really care if there mods work on consoles to be honest. As long at they function on PC that's what'll matter.

Alot depends on if script extender devs want it to work, if they're meh on console mods will be pretty basic.

Very doubtful consoles will ever see texture packs and Enbs and the like. Prolly will just choke.
