Apologizes if this is the wrong place to ask, didn't know where else to post.

Played the hell out of vanilla Morrowind back in the day and recently took advantage of the awesome Steam sale and picked this up. I'd like to add some mods to spice it up and add BTB's improvements but not quite sure how to go about doing it with MGSO also installed. Figured since they're both popular mods someone here would have some feedback. Here's my question:

I installed MGSO v3 and am about to install BTB's game improvements. Reading through BTB's Game Improvements he says that if I have better clothes installed to use the alternate better clothes esp found with his download. Only problem is looking at the .esm(s) installed with MGSO I have betterclothes_v1.1.esp, betterclothesforTB.esp, and more_better_clothes.esp.

Do I just add the alternate included with BTB's and activate that lower on my list than the above mods? Or do I have to deactive any of the above as well?


Also I'm eyeing GCD's mod because I feel that grinding for +5 stats each level up was a bit of a chore. The author of BTB says that the two mods are compatible but warns that with his settings module installed the game becomes much "harsher." Anyone have any experience/feedback with those two installed?

In general, GCD gives you lower health so the game's harder and with BTB, more so. However, there are some synergies that actually make things easier IIRC (it's been a while). I remember that using the BTB races and birthsigns with GCD, a Breton/Mage starts out with very, very high regenerating magicka and is a level one powerhouse.

About better clothes, just sub BTB's for the basic one. It's not really that important since I think it just adjusts the values to be consistent with the other economy changes.

Yeah rereading BTB's Better Clothes readme I'm not too sure why that wasn't obvious to me.

And I'll probably just install the "fairly easier" patch with GSD if using it in duo with BTB will make the game much harder. I can remove it or just play around with the difficulty slider if I don't like it.
