Your character is super cute - never seen one quite like her before!

I only just installed Oblivion again after my hard drive fried and I lost everything more than a year ago. Somehow the idea of reinstalling and playtesting 200 mods put me off, lol. But I finally managed to do it and am loving Oblivion again. I'm playing with my old mainquest char Shamanih... not exactly as glamorous as some of the amazing chars I see round here now, but I totes love her :twirl:

Heres a few I've taken of my two main characters, a sister Xi'Ziz and brother Na'Ziz. Ohmes raht; which I have no problems calling them as next to the beaver faced khajiits they do look like elves.

Yeah he's pretty orange, and pretty, I :bowdown: before that glorious outfit. I play Xi as the my anti-authority antagonistic character, where as Na is a generally on good terms with the law and adheres to it. Xi'Na, hmm need armor like Xena :no:

Thanks She's supposed to be a little Indian-looking, hence her name. The top is the patch top from from http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23678. Love that mod

Thanks Rumpleteasza and Gadar and specially thankful for the link, :biggrin: I've just got it installed earlier to enjoy. As for a backstory; I always imagined them as Elsweyrian expats who both had served in the west with Valenwood. Being the only two Ohmes in their large families, they took to the military and then emigration to live where feeling like an outsider was more natural. They took different paths by every sense of the word after reaching Cyrodiil.

I was messing around with an animation to be used for flight when all of a sudden the pose completely messed up. The resulting pose though was somewhat inspiring again and I refined it into this "backing off"-type of motion. This image then popping up in my imagination is just the typical way my brain works when I'm trying to be creative again. So I added a background to the render and applied a lot of post-processing to finish it up. Hope you like it.

And yes, I know I should stop creating pictures and concentrate on getting the meshes/animations/anatomy etc. done instead in the rare and quite limited free time I can gather, but these ideas just come over me and I can't resist living them out then. :unsure:

Oblivion is a drug when it comes to hardware:

I remember when it launched I had what was then considered epic 7800GTX sli setup with an Athlon X2 4800, now mind you most of what made up that computer was purchased second hand but it was still cutting edge. With all the settings maxed oblivion could still make it chug at 1920x1200 :brokencomputer: and there was no anti aliasing allowed with HDR. If not for Oblivion I would used that setup far longer and would still prob be using my 8800GTX with the old quadcore Q6600 today after 4 years. The only thing that matters is the games I truly love run flawless on my big old photoeditor monitors, if I don't love a game with a passion I could care less how it runs. I'm not into the latest or greatest for its own sake either, but I do feel a need for the people who share my interest to know the joy great computers can bring :celebration:

Now I have a 4GHZ core i7, GTX 580 and 12GB of ram with a PCIe slot SSD revo drive SOLELY for the purpose of running modded oblivion and MGE-Morrowind, my editing software gets along fine as long as I kept it fed with ram. And only with with the 580GTX+Revo drive have I finally reached TES nirvana, the GTX 285 couldn't do it, nor could the 8800GTX, nor the X1950XT.. nor 7800GTX sli. I've played the games religiously for the past few months, now I'm hopeless in a different manner :facepalm:

To think how much easier it could have been had I not been a digital artist/photographer and had normal desktop monitors. My fiancé loved all the hand me downs though.
