Kyran, a new character. Custom abnormally tall wood elf with a beard.

Get Wet droplets visible, if you look closely.

A likely spot for washing oneself, fresh running water in the shadow of the trees, somewhere secluded.

Just a couple of snaps of my new warrior char. I've spent more time in the starting prison cell comparing body replacers, races, textures than I care to admit - but it's very fun. Ended up with EVE HGEC as usual, using deathknowz's DK High Imperials and a slightly tweaked face from his Isabelle - DK High Imperial. Hair from DesuChan's DoLLs. I aimed for a cute and very blonde nord but she ended up more "keltic". She looks a bit as a cross between Izabella Scorupco and Michelle Pfeiffer which can't be a bad thing. I might try to use the eyes from Moonshadow Elves if that's possible.

I'll be waiting for this. Excellent work. Wish there was an HGEC version though. Posted 22 March 2011 - 02:10 PM

Hard to believe it has been almost 8 weeks since I posted those pics. I only do my modding on weekends and the time goes by so quickly. I'm working on the interior of the store now. I sent something to your in-box, did you get it or were you able to use it?

------------------------------------------------

Here are a few pictures of my store interior. If you are acquainted with the Thermae Bath Mod you might see something familiar here. Renovating Thermae has been a hobby of mine for a couple of years now, so I thought why not use one of the renovated versions as the store. It will be moved to a natural cavern underneath the Panther River.

I'm trying to make this into a good place for screenshooters, so even if you can't use the clothing and Armour maybe you can still use the location.

The oblivion version will be Bab because that is what I use. The plan though is to put this into Skyrim where the initial release would use the default bodies, male and female. Any release after that would be for whatever body mods I choose to support.

:lmao: No they're not everything but when the last dozen or so you post go roundly without comment...even the thickest skin can begin to feel a bit like the odd kid out in the back of the room that no one wants to talk to but everyone has to put up with. LOL So then I of course have to ask myself why I even bother posting them here. Sigh. Glutton I suppose. :D

And you definitely have one hell of a screenie haven going in those screens. :lmao: Greenie is gonna go nuts in there.

Here is my take. Maybe your characters are too vanilla to comment on. Though your characters and game is modded.

The way I play and use my game is in more practical sense (like playing the game in way I want and keep it in lore.) and less in aesthetic sense (making it prettier which puts more lag to the game).

I know Oblivion is ugly to look at but its a improvement from Morrwind four years before. I know are other games that are older and look prettier like No one Live Forever series. Least Beth is improving the games what they look like.

That is what I see.

Good lord, that is FUNNY! Do you do these hysterical screenies using pose mods, the Construction Set, post-editing?

http://tesalliance.org/forums/uploads/1289618720/gallery_86_3_22196.jpg
This is a very nice screenie - I like the warmth of it, and the girls seem very personable, plus it made me laugh.

:lmao: No they're not everything but when the last dozen or so you post go roundly without comment...even the thickest skin can begin to feel a bit like the odd kid out in the back of the room that no one wants to talk to but everyone has to put up with. Ironically enough, I had noticed your above screenie before I saw your comment about your screenies being ignored, and was planning on commenting on it. I have commented a lot about comments several years ago - of course people like to share their screenies and receive feedback. I like your humorous way of asking for some comments! The secret is to get into a conversation with someone about their work, and mutual comments often follow. I haven't been posting much lately, so I don't know if you comment on others work or not, but regardless, that is a big part of what keeps this thread so long-lasting.

Edit: Hmmm, it looks like some of the section of the opening post I wrote a while back about giving and receiving comments got commented out of the newest opening post! :P

I didn't take anything out but I can edit something in if you want. :)
This used to be in there not too long ago:

"Regarding receiving comments or not receiving comments to your post:
Comments are hit or miss on this very fast moving thread. This thread moves so FAST that it is hard for lots of us to comment on peeps' screenies. So many, if not most screenies may appear to go unnoticed, because no comments occur. I am sure many of us have worked hard on something, and it appears to just fly by the pages, because of this very popular thread. Many of us try to take time to comment because it is fun to give others feedback and generally seems appreciated. But often no one does. If you really feel like it always happens that your post is ignored, ask a question about it. Whenever you directly ask about something, it is almost always answered by someone. Or even repost it - and point something out about it that you like or want feedback on.

And the best way to get comments? Positively, constructively/specifically comment on others work too!"

But in an attempt to shorten the opening post, I edited this section down to the following:

"If you like to receive comments relative to your posts (who doesn't?), the best way to get comments is to positively, constructively/specifically comment on others work too."

But this got dropped from the latest opening post (developed for Thread #274 by Bashur, according to thread history) which, ironically, is way longer than our original opening post!

In retrospect, it would have been classier to be emailed about the overhaul before it went into production, since several of us had worked very hard on that opening post and it had been developed over the course of many years. I'm not saying I don't like the newest opening post - it is excellent in its layout and content, but it also is way too long, imo, and the part about comments that got dropped is at times useful to refer others to. And to just have several negative lines said about the original opening post by Bashur, and that was that, well, that was also not classy.

In other words, for someone to just come in and re-do it, and not contact the main person who was involved originally and who was still working on it recently with Ashley Chan (and anyone else who wanted to) - well, that isn't too cool. It even said "(Written by various contributors to this thread. Please PM greatfool1 if you do not agree with any part(s) of this.)"

Anyway, I am glad I got to say this - and thanks for the offer, Chainy.

Edit: Hahahaha, I just noticed the "credit" under the heading of the opening post:

"v2.0 - Reformated by Bashur for better aesthetics and ease of use for new members"

(And no, I do not want any credit, but it still amazes me this occurred as it did.)

P.S. Please correct the spelling of the word "reformatted" in that "credit". :P ;)

Holy Cow ;) - she's great! Beautiful pic, Chainy, and definitely worth the fairly long download.

By the way, I should have been clearer in my rant above that I understood you had nothing to do with the way the original opening post got re-done without any consideration with those most involved with it. I know you simply started this current thread the normal way - so my apologies for not making that clearer in my post.
