Model makers needed!

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 6:20 am

Alright, anyone here good at making stuff who has the time to? Province: Cyrodiil really needs someone aside from myself who can make nice models. I can not do everything unfortunatly. I figured that by some chance, I might get someone's attention by just making a separate thread for this.

Any kind of model you can make is fine. We need clothing buildings, weapons, armor, probably anything you can think of. The latest release has me with a list of things that need replacing or fixing not to mention all the stuff that still needs to be made.

If you rock at UV mapping, thats a plus. Even if you can only work on a couple things a month, thats fine too.

Is there anything specific that you're looking for? I've been meaning to get back into modeling and maybe doing something for someone else will get my lazy ass in gear. :hehe:
I can model weapons (no bows/crossbows though), buildings, helms, sheilds, and miscellanea.

Pretty much all of that. I can't recall anything specific that needs done right now, but through the course of building Cyrodiil we will have to create many more models than we currently have, which is already a substantial number. Anyone interested in doing model work for Province: Cyrodiil should run over to our forums and check it out. You can get there by going through the link in my signature.

I dont use facebook.(now get your jaw off the ground) The best thing is through this forum or through the Province Cyrodiil forums since this is all Morrowind oriented anyway.
What program are you using to make stuff? I have set up both 3ds max and blender to import and export nifs.

As for specific stuff, anything you can think of that would be here. The most pressing need is probably architecture and clutter, and possibly armor. As for poly counts, depends on whats being done. For alot of things, a couple thousand polys is all you should really need at most. Not too many things will be really high, save for things like my wayshrine where practically every surface is rounded.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/35424753/Blender%20For%20Morrowind%20All%20Files.7z are what you need to get Blender 2.49b set up for conversion. If struggling post error messages and or screenshots which will enable us to advise you as to where you are going wrong.
