So who is making this? Did Infinity Ward completely lose the rights to the Call of Duty series?

I've been playing COD for a while now and I believe BLOPS will be my last unless these new developers can make magic happen. I think sledgehammer and raven or something? Anyhow Skyrim is out in November which will give me a nice break from the FPS thing. And while I'm playing that I'll wait and see how many of my friends are playing MW3 and what their thoughts are on it. I generally have all old school gamers on my list so the opinions will come fast and plenty.

The Gamestop by me gave away a really nice double sided poster for pre-ordering.On one side its a TIME magazine cover, with a picture of what looks like a war torn New York.On the other side is what you would expect the cover to look like. The poster was the only reason I pre-ordered and I will probably cancel it soon.

I'm pretty excited, I for some reason never finished MW2's campaign so I'm playing through it right now. I like how they've brought the fight to the US, that really hasn't been done too much as far as I know.

Yea, the guy at Gamestop was the one that suggested I do it too.

I'll upload pictures of both sides later today.

I know. I'm stuck on whether to get BF3 of MW3. My wallets in for a burn this winter.

Not quite enough explosions and slow motion for my taste.

Way too over the top. Though I suppose anything believable would be considered boring these days.

As old as the setting had gotten over the years, semi-believable World War II was far more entertaining than these modern settings could ever hope to be. These fights against terrorists and such can't hold a candle to the Allies' romanticized liberation of Europe, Africa and so on. Call of Duty 2 nearly perfected this IMO.

Woah, I just watch the huge flashy trailer on the TV. Its, pretty awesome and long. Too bad the hole story has already been leaked.

And to think they did not listen to any of the complaints from MW 2 about jumping all over the world like rabbits on crack. Russian military mobilizes their armed forces and invades both coasts in ONE DAY.

I expected nothing else. I don't know why they're even making the campaign playable; just slap together footage of somebody "playing" through it and charge people money at movie theaters to watch the four hour-long Michael Bay war drama.

I don't care how good or bad the multiplayer is, I'm more into the singular experience, and this series offers absolutely nothing good in that regard. Skipping this for sure (as if that will change the fact that millions of diehard fans have probably already pre-ordered it).

Oh look, there's a level in London. Brace yourself for some terrible 'British' voice acting and a city that stopped looking like that fifty years ago.

Why should they not get some real British voices like they already did, or use those real-life location pictures they seem to have used for Berlin and Paris? ^_^

Why no Russia? There's a lot of potential in playing the Spetznaz for example(Alpha squad anyone? *drools*)

I am so sick of playing the usual glorified "western rambo".

Because Russia is the aggressor, and thus has to be a MW-typical army of faceless (or rather cloned) mooks with leaders twirling their mustaches while cackling evilly.

Well the game doesn't look all that bad. They have the Mp5 in, so I'm happy. Just hope it's not as "ridiculous" as Mw2 in terms of multiplayer. That was horrible <_< M203's galore, overpowered weapons x4 and weapons that shot straight.

As long as the Mp is close to black ops's (in terms of me not throwing the controler), I might actually buy this one.
