Modern Warfare 3

Well they have good reason, I mean, what do the fans play most? Singleplayer? No, they spend months and months ( sadly) playing multiplayer so why put more work into Sp then Mp? Some people also NEVER touch the SP campaign so really they have good reason to focus on MP rather then Sp.

They have more then enough money to focus on both SP and MP and put out a really great product. No excuses.

Love the irony of people on a Bethesda forum complaining about CoD's engine

Irony? Skyrim's getting a brand new engine. What irony?

This isn't a surprise, to me, but in my personal opinion, Call of Duty is a piece of garbage series. I'm just not a big fan of first-person shooters, in general, and I particularly dislike military shooters, but if they are going to be made, at least they could be made with some actual innovation and care. I don't know how Battlefield 3 is turning out, but if it truly is one such game, I hope it disgraces this new Call of Duty game in both financial and critical success.

I hope we get to play French and German forces. And that they're not dubbed.

In MW2, are the Russians dubbed voices with a typical accent, or actual Russian language?

MW4 the world goes into chaos and creates a breakdown of society. You take on the role as an ex-militant to put down the starving masses that are bunching around some of the last areas of government.

You somehow get framed for something...yadda...yadda....you fight and help liberate people. Whoopie!

Now its in a more Wild West kind of setting, with law by the gun. Leading to even more breakdown of communities into small villages and towns that govern themselves.

Another crapped up MW plot! With a post apocalyptic feel. :P

Not all games have to focus on story or single player. Even though I like having a great story I do not expect or will be saddened from this series about the crap campaigns.

I just hope that more people turn to Battlefield 3 because I think Battlefield is 50 times better than Call of Duty.(Flame shield activated). Also I am sick of Call of Duties repetitiveness, for example here how it is basically: Meet Characters, Big event plunges world into WWIII, short switching character campagin,SAVE WORLD YAY ITS OVER. Online is just bugs and non balanced. Even if my friends buy this MW3 instead of Battlefield I am still going to play Battlefield. :turned:

I honestly can't get into battlefields MP, I love the single player but just not a fan of the slow paced online.

I think there are a few russian voices. But none of the major russian characters ever speak russian as far as I can remember.
Also I want to be French and German so I can have the Famas and G36 as my standard weapon. The M4 is getting awefully boring.

No. I don't care.
After what happened with MW2 lucky I did not get it I will not by an other cod game and/or anything from Activistion.
Releasing a game every year is crap and it will be the same over and over. The only thing that will be different is the name. They don't like the game. All they doing it is for money.
I see all through their bull****!!!

I agree; BF3 looks much more promising then this & they have actually given us footage. EA seems very confident with their game. IW not so much..

Because the market transfer in the sport games, (FIFA, PES, ETC) are always updating, Playing FIFA 2010 is not the same as playing FIFA 2'011. sometimes the roster of each team changes, sometimes the cup names changes too, or even the formation who every team uses, they do have a excuse to release it every year, I cannot see how this have something to do with COD (from wich, they dont have a excuse to do it every years) but oh well

Too many hipsters in here.
...
:P

I for one am excited to rent MW3 for the (poorly-written but exciting nonetheless) story. Multiplayer can svck it, but I play game for fun and Modern Warfare undoubtedly has a fun campaign!

You know what the sad thing is? Assassin's Creed was thrown into the same trap. The difference is that I actually cared about the Assassin's Creed series and now I must watch it slowly be tortured and drained dry while spectators pay to allow the torture to continue.

I forgot about the sports games like Tiger Woods Golf. My mind was somewhere else when I was typing that. I have Tigers Woods Gold 2004, 05, 06 and 07. Though they are golf game each every of those golf games are different with different golf courses and the game play like the challenges.

With the games like Modern Warfare (which is good even the single player game.) and releasing every year after MW2 (I did not get after what IW done with PC gamers. I brought Dragon Age as a protest.) they look the same and play the same. Building looks the same, streets look the same and the enemies looks the same like a carbon copies from MW.

Thank goodness that Elder Scrolls V Skyrim took five years to make after Elders Scrolls IV Oblivion and those two games will be different. Like Elders Scrolls IV Oblivion is different from Elders Scrolls III Marrowind. Least Beth believe in their games. Though they are buggy.

"Exclusive First Details on the Biggest Game of 2011"

Wait, what?

I thought Skyrim has already been announced.

Anyway, even if my brother gets it for Christmas, I won't be playing it. I liked MW, hated MW2 and BO was between the two but I barely play it (Probably because I am too busy playing the true game of the year series (in my opinion)).
Also, it sounds very rushed (under a year since the last game is nowhere near enough time to make a good game, especially when the company making it got their heart ripped out and fed to investors), but I could be wrong on this point.

I'm not trying to be a troll, I just really don't like what's happening to CoD after Infinity Ward's overlords decided that profits come before quality (yes, I know it's a business, but it still doesn't give them an excuse to do what they did).

With MORROWIND being my favorite game. I cannot allow that spelling error to go unnoticed. :P

Anyways. I personally can't wait for Modern Warfare 3. I loved the multiplayer in the second one. When someone was getting close to getting a nuke people actually stopped camping for 15-30 seconds to kill the potential endgame. Which was a kind of balance. Now in Black Ops everyone just camps.

It still amazes me that I can play MW 2 at the highest settings flawlessly, yet Black Ops is a stuttering piece of trash even on the lowest settings, which it shouldn't. I don't expect them to improve this for MW 3, as all they care about now are xbox 360 dudebros.

Why would I ever shell out 60 bucks to play a game that was technically released in 2007? Unless they make some MAJOR game engine and feature improvements, my money will be spent elsewhere. Not to mention November is gonna be expensive as it is...Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Assassins Creed Revelations and something else I'm forgetting.

I heard that they are putting a microtransactions system into MW3, if that is true, I will not be buying it.
