Modifying unconcious effect for essential NPC

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 5:48 am

Does anyone know how FO3 handles the unconscious effect for essential NPC. I thought that it might be a base effect or actor effect but I don't see anything in those areas. I don't even see a game setting that controls how long the NPC is unconscious. I'm looking to change how unconscious works.

I believe the unconscience effect is more or less built into the game engine (i could be wrong though). I'm sure you could change the duration though, either in the ini file or a game setting.

While this may be a bit late I was searching through the forums on a related issue:
There are two game settings relating to unconsciousness: fEssentialDeathTime (10) and fEssentialHealthPercentReGain (0.3), defaults in parenthesis. Hope it helps someone. :)
