Mods on Console

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 8:02 pm

So I decided to get Fallout 4 on my Xbox One instead of on PC. Mainly because my friend is getting it on Xbox One and we like to chat while we play games if we aren't doing any story parts. And I also don't want this Xbox One to become an unused gaming machine with a pile of dust on it like my first one was. I was wondering has Bethesda said whether or not the Mods will be available on Xbox One at the same time the new Creation Kit launches for PC next year? Or will there be a wait?

Being a mainly PC gamer Mods are very important to me. They keep a game going long after the developers move on to new projects. The only reason I considered Fallout 4 on Xbox One is because I read an interview with Todd Howard saying there will be no restrictions for any type of mod and they WILL let you break your game. So mods on consoles are also an at your own risk type of deal just like on PC. It will be nice to be able to get the unofficial patches people make on Console for once.

Sorry to shatter your dreams but console mods are going to be moderated. So no schoolgirls with big ass hooters and thongs. ^^

In sticky "Fallout 4 release info -- including PC System Requirements",

there has a link Bethesda.net (I'm a new member, not able to post it here), go through it.

I'm not sure it's a guarantee or not, and no further details.

Seeing as I don't ever use any of those mods, I think I can live with that.
