Mods by David Brasher

My Oblivion mods are available for download on TES Nexus. I actively support these mods, read my mail, fix bugs, and release updates. I feel that communication between the gamers and the modders will result in a better gaming experience for everyone if it results in mods getting debugged more and more completely until they are highly polished and beyond reproach.

I strongly agree with you on communication. Looks like some good mods there. I'm going to bookmark this topic and try these out for future reference. By the way, Nexus is down for maintance according to a previous post.

Some interesting looking dungeon crawls there.
I like it when modders put things outside the borders. :tops:

I have uploaded http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27302 which is compatible with Elsweyr Anequina and three other Elsweyr mods, and adds 28 locations to Elsweyr.

I like your mods. Even though a few look abandoned (knights expansion).

I've learned form your various critiques on Nexus when you review other dungeon mods and can see you have an eye for detail.

That said - I'm very surprised to repeatedly find that you do not clean your mods before releasing them.

Here is a tutorial that explains a lot of why this is done:http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/TES4Edit_Cleaning_Guide

I don't install any mods without cleaning them. This is not meant as an insult or to debase your work. It is meant as a suggestion for improving your work. While cleaning a mod that stands alone in a load order is not as essential (but still desirable) many of your mods add dungeons and locations near/next to other popular mods making cleaning a must in my load order.

Thanks for hearing me out and I hope this was seen as trying to be helpful.

[edit] what concerns me is that after cleaning most of your stand alone mods I see the pattern that the cleaning is needed. Generally though the advice is to not use the te4edit automated cleaning tool on esp that have other esp as masters. So, Your version of Tales from Elsweyr is one such esp with edit showing a potential 224 deletions to its masters. Deletions being a prime cause of ctds has me concerned and since I'm not comfortable cleaning this kind of thing by hand I'm bringing that to your attention.
