Hi there, so I've had the Legendary Edition for a while on PC, but stopped playing because mods were giving me too much of a headache. I saw that in SE, Skyrim will sort your mods and allow you to download them in-game, which I hoped would save me from the headaches of NMM, so i decided to try and set it up. Sadly, it seems I still need to use this cursed method to get certain mods, and after painstakingly reinstalling it (I lost it and all of my game data a long time ago), I tried to download Immersive Armors off Nexus, since I couldn't find it in the in game workshop...only to find nothing happens. Other mods from the in game method seemed to have downloaded properly, though.

NMM doesn't open. I get a request that it will be opened, and I say yes, and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

How did you guys get mods into your Special Edition? Is Nexus Mod Manager still necessary? I just wanna enjoy this game again...
