Curious as to if there are ways to change the background of the Morrowind Launcher executable from the default GotY background (the grey one with the wolf and the fabricant) to something else? Perhaps to the graphics used by the launcher in the initial release or the Tribunal versions of the launcher, if not something new entirely.

There have been threads on this in the past.

You can use http://resedit.net to extract the Launcher's graphics, or replace them. If you want to revert to the Tribunal image though you're going to have to install a fresh copy of Morrowind with Morrowind and Tribunal and then extract the graphic and use it to replace the GotY launcher's background.

Unfortunately, as releasing such a mod would require either distributing a modified .exe, which is not allowed, or releasing a patch, which not many modders know how to make.
