funny thing is, i already dismissed all of these, save the DX9 fix... Aside from that, these are far from essential. Fallout needs to be darker, and gloomy, not brighter... I dont use 3rd person so thats a useless one, another radio station? i already dont use the ones available... MT UI holds no interest for me, the menus are fine the way they are. Perhaps the freeplay post ending mod would be nice, but by the time i get to that point i'm gana be just about done with the game, or i'll create a new character (and remove the perk every level mod).

Theres far better mods out there, such as the combat rebalances (so fights arnt just minute long slug fests). dont know about you guys, but i like not being able to just rush in and survive being gunned down by 9 guys with just me and my trusty reinforced leathers and some super stims.

Definition of essential...

Save the DX9 fix (which should have been sorted out by the devs WAY before hand anyways) this describes nothing mentioned in that article.

Calm down, I was providing a some small modifications. If it really harms you in any way, don't post. I only meant this as a small mod., and maybe the title was misleading, but it doesn't warrant you to insult the mods. in the first place. I never said these were absolutely necessary for running the game, so please, to be blunt, chill.

Well, with out knowing anything about what you did and didnt do...

You just dropped the downloaded file into the main fallout folder... and done, easy day. Its fixed probably 95% of peoples problems, but from what i've heard it breaks a few visual elements but i personally havnt missed whatever they are.

My game went from probably 5 fps in a crowded room on minimum settings, to smoothness (maybe the exceedingly infrequent stutter) everywhere. A few situations i ran into slowed me down abit but its rare.

Heh, it's funny.

When I was at Gamestop at the midnight launch for FNV, I asked the guy how many preorders he had. He said 120. So I said, '40 on each platform thereabouts?' and he said no, like 80 were for xbox 360, 10 for PC (one of mine), and the rest on PS3...

These people really don't know what they're missing.
