Some modding ideas for folks looking for stuff to do..

Give casinos a unique flavor. Something along the lines of increasing the maximum betting and winning cap for some casinos. For example, betting in the ultralux should have higher domination then say atomic wrangler.

A certain town that got wiped out by legion, perhaps a quest to re-populate it with villagers of your choosing. NCR/Legion/Neutral. Who wouldn't want to own their own city?

During the main quest I found it odd that

I want something related to the Enclave or the remnants. They could be major or minor like the Brotherhood of Steel in the Mojave. Since no one knows what happen to Navarro I think that either the Enclave remained there or set up camp in the Mojave. And having some tie into the main quest perhaps? And have the Enclave take control; if you're like me and dislike the NCR, Caeser's Legion, the Followers of the Apocalypse, and Mr. House.

It would be fun to have some sort of Enclave remnant left and "pacify" the denizens of the Mojave Wasteland....

My two most awaited mods are an Increased Spawns mod and the New Vegas equivalent of the FO3 Enclave Commander mod.

What I would love to see (whether a mod or a DLC ) is a Zombie Apocalypse Mod for FNV.

I really love the Zombie Apocalypse Mod I have for F3, which I downloaded from the Fallout 3 nexus site.

Now I thought it would be a neat idea to bring back the Aliens into Fallout New Vegas but with an additional story: Zombies.

The story could be something such as this:

Just before the Aliens aboard Mothership Zeta were defeated, a distress signal was send out to their brethren back on their home world.
Another ship was sent out to come to the aid of Mothership Zeta, and arrived in our solar system some time later.
The Alien's expeditionary force learned what happened to their brethren and began immediately to devise plans on how to avenge their comrades as well as how to destroy mankind and conquer earth thereafter.
Rather then initiating a full scale attack on earth, they instead establish a secret base of operations in the Mojave desert.
They do not intend to fight an open war, but instead create a biological weapon, a virus, with which they infect abducted test subjects within their deep-subterranean base ( humans, ghouls, Super Mutants etc....) and later on release these abductees ( whose memory of the abduction got wiped ) back out into the open to infect others.
The virus basically works like the virus from 28 days/weeks later.
Our hero's quest is basically to find out what is causing the outbreak of Zombies.
He/she would have to do some quests to learn more about the Virus and the Zombie Outbreak from different factions, fight hordes of Zombies while doing so, aid factions in battle against the undead/enraged infected and would eventually learn the origin of the virus and who is behind it.
From battles with zombies in settlements, the desert, Vegas and military bases, all the way to the Alien base.
Anyways, I think this would make for one hell of a Mod or DLC ( lol I am hopping someone from Bethesda reads this and is inspired =P )

Faster respawns, modded creatures (in time everything gets it's quality custom critters), slower levels to compliment faster respawns, and stuff to make me look good.
Probably some big mod with an acronym will come out doing everything I want and more.

I'd like a mod similar to Kvatch Rebuilt for Oblivion to let you become the Sheriff/Owner of Primm. Seriously, why wasn't that an option?

I'd like to see some sound replacers for ED-E's combat music, and a High Roller perk that raises the max amount of money you can win from a casino, plus maybe the max bets as well. Also a fix for that glitch where I lose any armor that I hand to a follower who isn't allowed to equip it due to faction.

I have no idea if it's feasible, I am a mod neophyte. My first time venturing to realm of of mods, so be gentle with any stupidity I spout.

I feel like Dinky was such a wasted strategic asset. You're in a very high point and there is absolutely no rush of baddies to shoot at. I was hoping for a rush of Ghouls, Legion or something. maybe to prove our skill to Boone or something. Mention a giant dinosaur and that we can get into its mouth and I expect to be able to shoot stuff from it.

FWE by far, I think this level of options should be standard for any game. Unless you have your own major game re balancing mod, or another one that happen to exactly conform to what you want, FWE is were its at, for 99% of people I think they would want it, because it give you the freedom to choose how you want the game to be played, less xp, ok more ammo, sure, deadlier combat sure, or the opposite of everything I just listed why not, its up to you. Dozens of options to tweak your game, I really hope its comes out for New Vegas.

I'd like to see a mod that allows most (or at least more) NPCs to play Caravan.

Where are the Enclave remnants?

I use this term to describe the current status of the Enclave. With the Oil Rig destroyed and whether or not is there Enclave at Camp Navarro is still not answered; and the Enclave of the East Coast destroyed from the Brotherhood of Steel's attack upon Adams Airforce Base and the destruction of Raven Rock. We are not sure if there is now an acual government left or if the Enclave has recuperated and rebuilt it's military.
So I use remnants to simply say that since all the major Enclave headquaters destroyed and Presidents murdered it is likely that the Enclave is in complete disarray and there are only "remnants" left.

First and foremost, I'd LOVE to see FOMM, then FOSE. After that is done most of the best mods should start coming in.

Stick(s) of dynamite. Really, did anyone else think this would just be in the game?

duct tape + (x)number of sticks from inventory (seven sticks max) = much bigger boom

The number of sticks equals the multiplier of a regular stick, and the trowing distance is a little shorter (increasing strength helps)

...

The same treatment for timebombs, and powder charges, using more dynamite creates a bigger explosive charge.

C4 charges ought to be able to be duct taped together as well I think. Either that, or being able to turn the timebomb into a remote detonated charge by swapping out the eggtimer for a sensor module and more scrap electronics.

Not for the bottlecap mines, cuz they're strong as hell anyway

FWE and Bag of holding. Also hoping SaidenStorm (sp?) adds StormStudios mods to NV :)

Probably other stuff but those come to mind right now.

I'd love to see a car.

Think about it. It wouldn't have worked in Fallout 3 because the roads are damn near useless, they've all been blown up, so don't go anywhere any more.

In Vegas, the roads aren't so destroyed. In fact, you probably could drive a car down them without too much trouble. Plus most of the major towns are joined up with roads.

I'm not suggesting a ferrari in mint condition that blitzes down the I15 at 220mph, I'm thinking of a crappy, run down junker that you have to repair every mile or so and fill it up with microfusion cells frequently.

It would fit.

It doesn't even have to be fast, it just needs to be faster than walking. I mean actual walking. It could be the player's normal running speed and I'd be very, very happy.

I want a mod that fixes the occasional "sticking" bug that Revolvers, Hunting Shotguns and Cowboy Repeaters have. I've died on more than 6 occasions now when using those guns and it sticking, rendering me unable to do shoot let alone even open my inventory.

I agree with you on this, I'm looking forward to seeing if a FNV-WE mod is made.

FWE to NV. FOMM to NV. FOSE to NV.
MMM to NV.
Awesome clothing/weapon mods to NV.
CALIBRE to NV, CRAFT to NV.

I want to be able to have an alternative start with history and all that, want to be able to see my current drink/sleep/food needs without checking the pip-boy.
I want to be able to set the spawn settings and all that, all the settings that FWE got.

And I want the campfire and all those modifiy and make stuff to be sorted from what you can do and what you can do not in some kind of alphabetical order or how it's normally.

A functional multiple followers mod. The followers are so great, but I don't want to be limited to one humanoid and one machine/animal or have to cope with their weird behavior.

A train mod would be neat for an alternate fast-travel.

I'm unfamiliar with mods for the fallout games. I played fallout 3 but didn't touch any mods since I was new to PC gaming when I had started to play it. So if I name anything that has been done/isn't feasible, let me know :P

- Ability to pick up throwing spears (some will break randomly after thrown). They're my favorite weapon to use but i'm having a hard time finding them, I thought it was really strange that such a big object wouldn't be re-usable, especially if you just completely miss.

- A clock somewhere on the HUD. It's easy enough to press t but I guess i'm just lazy

- More NPC's, quests, dialogue, the works.

- Like someone else said, increased badguy spawner. It's boring as hell walking through the wasteland forever, after you've visited a few places, there isn't much reason to walk anymore since nothing is going to happen. Might as well just insta-port everywhere. With increased spawning, there should defiantly be a slowdown on exp or the exp needed to level should be raised.

- More buildings, towns, caves, or underground places. I understand it's post apocalyptic but come on, it's repetitive and boring.

- Ability to fix up some of the motorcycles lying around. You find motorcycle parts everywhere, how awesome would it be to cruise around like GTA.

- More boobytraps? Seriously, I love it when buildings and stuff is boobytrapped. It adds another element to the game.

-Aiming mod for people who don't like VATS. I hate vats, it slows down the game and makes it feel like i'm playing a turn based strategy game. I wanna run and gun but it's ridiculous to hold down your iron sites and aim dead on only to miss my a mile when you're standing 5ft away.

- A zombie mod would be awesome as well! You could take it one step farther and add in the "vampire" element from oblivion. If you get bit by a zombie, you slowly start to turn into one and people scream, run, hate, attack you until you get it cured. It could have added special effects as well like a limp, can take more damage, hated by people, increased unarmed melee damage. For feeding on the dead it can have special effects like increased hp, strength, speed from feeding on a victim but it lowers karma, and such.

That's all I can think of, any of those would be great!
