MCA MOG Addon Update:

It's playable... but I haven't been interested in Morrowind for awhile, so it's not as complete as I'd like it to be ( which would be 130% complete), but If anyone is willing to "beta test" what I have done, I'll send you a copy. I'd rather send it out privately to a couple people before releasing it onto Planet, even if it's not really finished. And hopefully whatever feed-back I get will prompt me to actually finish the darn thing, or if it's deemed "good enough", just release it as-is.

If anyone is interested in checking out the latest MCA Mog Addon send me a quick email at JoseFuentesLives@Gmail.com
I'll probably only send out 2 to 4 copies, first come first serve most likely.

If you're interested, the file I'll send you will include everything Except Ians files. So, you'll atleast need MogMod DL'd in order to test this out. The zip file size is around 35 mb.

(this is compatible with MCA 5.2)

Hey,this is my first time posting and I was wonder if there is or going to be a mod that decrease the size of the Mogs feet, or a way to do it myself.I don't have any experience with Nifscope or blender i just heard of it so some guide would be very helpful.

AFAIK there is no intention or desire to release such a mod amongst the mog*mod modding community, sorry pal :P.

However, I'd be more than happy to assist you in finding the guide you require to made the modifications yourself. In fact, there's a whole morrowind-oriented http://cs.gamesas.com/constwiki/index.php/Category:NifSkope_Tutorials :).

Good luck, don't be afraid to come back and ask for more help here on our forums if you need it :).

I found another linky you guys might be interested.... http://marbred.rethan-manor.net/page14.htm
But the source of the link provided there are dead....

Does anyone have the Moglits mod from there? Those mini-mogs are kinda cute. Is there another mod with normal mini-mogs in it? That would be even better.

Most of the MW helmits for mogs are here:
http://www.elricm.com/nuke/html/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownloaddetails&lid=829

I'm afraid my Moglits mod might be lost :( I can't find it anywhere.
Here is a mod that has the regular mini-mogs in leveled lists:

hows the new MCA moogle addon version coming?

Also how do I "Unbeast" the V4/kage moogles? I tried simply unchecking the "beast race" box, but I get an error similiar to the spiked hand issue... but with the feet instead of the hand. maybe putting on the mog fixes esp will fix it.

edit: I just ran a morrowind Animkit Fix animations, AND a Wrye mash savegame fix. not sure which did it, but the problem is apparently fixed now.

PS: I've been working with NIFSKOPE lately. been trying to make some mog equipment. Namely, MOG akavirian samurai helm, and Ninja outfits Masks and hood. The former went perfectly. the other two? ehhhhhhhhhh.... not so much.

I managed to find the Moglits mod on a foreign site. I think it might be German.
I put it up at PES so it doesn't get lost again, with the German html files included as a "thank you" to them for still having it.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7540

Feel free to use or change any of the textures in it if you want for your own mods.

Hi, guys

I realized lately, by reading this forum, that a good deal of players still use MCA 4.1. So here is an info that might interest some: Marbred's http://marbred.rethan-manor.net/page3.htm, that we thought lost, can be downloaded from http://modhistory.fliggerty.com/rwdownload/index.php?dlid=5328.

Hope this helps.

By the way, Marbred, any good news for us who stubbornly stick to MCA 5.2?

And here's the same Mog Addon, but with http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4231, if you missed it.
Thanks for the link, Afroking.

Yeah, I'm just going to upload what I have of the new version, since I can't seem to get myself to do anything more to it. I'll post a link when it's up.

EDIT: It's too big for PES :( I'll figure something out.

Okay, I've uploaded the newest MCA 5.2 Mog Addon.
You can http://marbred.fliggerty.com/MCAmogAddon.html
The versions for MCA 4.1 can also be found there.

If any one decides to finish/fix it, please tell me about it before uploading it somewhere.

Have fun.

hmm, this thread is getting close to the 200 mark.

Well, I'm done for right now.
It's become too much of a pain in the butt to play-test mods. Too much CTD for some unknown reason lately. I can't even just play the damned game, much less test mods these days.

MCA Mog Addon is basically on "pause" on my end. if someone wants to add to it, go for it. At the moment I'm just happy it's playable. Yeah, I'm a bad modder, I know.

Eventually I would like to turn it into a non-MCA mod, considering that it's using almost every mog mod that's out there, and it seems that the MogModCommunityPatch is lost. That's the End Goal. But, who knows when that'll happen.

... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but here I go again: some files are missing from the archive.

Namely:

Meshes\MOG\mini_mog.NIF
Meshes\MOG\null.NIF
mini_mog_skin.tga

Luckily for me, I had these from a previous version. Since I installed them, everything seem to work fine.

I can relate to that. Until very recently, I used to play Morrowind on an antediluvian computer, with much more mods than I should. CTD every 15 minutes.

Eventually I would like to turn it into a non-MCA mod

I like that idea.

Those files are included in Mog*mod.

Not in the version installed on my comp (Mog*Mod v4b 2).
Just to make sure, I re-downloaded it from PES: there is no "MOG" folder inside the "Meshes" folder (only a "MOG_v4" folder), and no texture by the name "mini_mog_skin".

Maybe you're using an older version?

Besides, I found that texture "TX_A_wwa_SO_Hood.dds" is also missing from your archive. And it may not be the only one. When I downloaded it a few days ago I noticed it was smaller than the version I tested (29,2 Mb against 40,9 Mb). At the time I didn't worry because I saw in the readme that some files had been removed.

I thought v4b2 had a mini-mog who was the "mog sizer", he makes sure the player race is scaled right. I must be thinking of an older version. I'll re pack it then. Thanks AfroKing.

The only files I took out of the archive are the mog race files, the mini-mog files, and the breaker sword files.
10mb is a big difference though... I'll look into it. Thanks again.

I would be interested if you find one.
To my knowledge the more interesting attempt at giving them a background is in the dialogues from DarkDragon's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4231 (read them in the Enchantor Editor or the CS if you don't use MCA 4.1.)

Also, for the record, there is http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Machall_Moogle_(DnD_Race), but as the name of the site suggests it's not specifically centered around our Morrowind Mogs.

Edit: Hmm. It looks like my memory is playing tricks on me. I just reviewed the dialogues from http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4231 and found only one entry pertaining to the Mogs' background:

"Mogs are travelers from the distant lands of the east. Little is known of the moogle race on these far shores, though it is rumored these creatures are masters of an ancient magic characterized by bizarre dance rituals. They are a mostly quite law abiding race, but can defend themselves if needed, usually by wielding their strange heavy "Breaker Swords", and wearing their oddly constructed "Kuporian Armor". Tread lightly around the hostile Mogs, outlander, and you'll be fine."

Hey. Figured this thread could use a bump, and I have a few problems...

Whenever I try to use the helm addon, and a few others (i'll have to check which ones exactly), it changes the moogle race at creation, stripping all their abilities away. The NPC moogles are also all covered with error signs.

Also, is there a heightfix or something for the Kage/Forest mogs? I had to change scale to get up and down stairs, and I can somehow walk right through most tables, crates, etc.
