what is up with the orc Mogrul in Raven Rock? is he part of a quest? he is just so rude!! he says something mean everytime i walk by but otherwise seems to have no purpose. i tried killing him but he doesn't die. then he said something along the lines of... if i ever took a hit at him again he'd kill me. big old meanie!

You get a quest that has to do with him after you get Neloth a new steward.

He has a small part to play in Neloth's questline.

Once you get a new steward for Neloth, you'll have the option to kill him. Or pay him. Or get the guards to kill him. If you don't do one of those, he'll continuously send assassins after you.

Yes, later he is associated with a quest. You'll just hate him more after that. But the bright side is he won't be essential anymore.

I did the option of just letting the assassins get me.

I always found this hilarious in the regular game, when thalmor guys came and I killed them so easily.

So I will never kill him, since it will be more fun to have assassins in the wild. Even at master, I don't die at 81.

Well, the two times I've died(in this expansion) were in the stupid mushroom house thing. I did not have the hang of "float down", it seems....

I'll kill him after he sends his 10th batch of assassins after me. I like the extra practice.

How do you get the guards to kill him!? I want to make redoran do my dirty work on my dragon priest character I'm starting

Damn. I just killed him recently on my game because I couldn't find any use for him (I intimidated him to complete the quest). Wish I'd have known he was sending assassin's after me, I'd have left the sour old codger alive.

Also, is it just me, or is he the only Black/Grey Orc we've seen in TES5 so far?

You need alot of Neloth Quests to Finish. That's like the 6th out of 7th one
