Because really, as soon as you see this guy acting like a mob boss in Raven Rock, harassing the npcs about his money and even using threats like "You'd better if you want your beautiful wife to stay that way", your first instinct is to kill him. Sadly, it isn't possible at first but the opportunity does present itself.
