This is my first typed fan fiction, after being told by may friends to "publish" it. I apologize in advance for errors or for my method, as I said I am new to this. This just a synopsis merely to get my idea in the open, the first exerpt will be up before saturday. So without further delay here is Mojave's Fall.

50 years after Darren Ripley (courier 6, who sided with the NCR) replaced Mr. House and turned New Vegas and the surrounding cities around it into a thriving community, and the wasteland is in danger as usual. The story is told through the eyes of Wyatt Sullivan, and Vault-born and current sheriff of recently founded settlement known as Outskirt, located between Primm and Goodsprings. Though his new life as sheriff is cut short when an old friend apporoaches him with an offer too good to be true, coming from the President of the NCR, Daniel Hawes. As it turns out the good president wanted to charge Sullivan with the task of rebooting the Central Intelligence Agency, with a team of his old friends and fellow warriors, and of course being funded by the man himself, Darren Ripley. The C.I.A's goal? To find and eliminate a terriorist hell-bent on bring the Mojave Wasteland to it's knees and to restore it to it's post nuclear state. The C.I.A. and Wyatt Sullivan have their work cut out for them.

Welcome Desmond.

I spotted one or two grammar mistakes, but who cares, the idea is intruding. Certainly something I've never seen before and I eagerly await the arrival of your fan fic and how it deals with the C.I.A in this post apocalyptic world.

Dang it if I hadn't been lazy I could have gotta in before Ytt! But yea Ytt pointed out the only wrong mistake. But yeah reform of the C.I.A? Now that shows promise. Along with some serious action.

Thanks guys I have been working on this one since the game came out and I have been tweaking it ever since. I do have to say though, it might start out a little slow, as the first few chapters is just his journey to Vegas along with alot of flashbacks to show why he's here now. Also I have a few things I forgot to mention, for instance...

- The NCR rebuilt the Mojave highway, along with making more Outposts along the road as well as reststops
- Mr. Ripley (again, courier 6 and current leader of Vegas) has built car factories as well as dealerships, so expect more cars and trucks, as well as NCR vehicals and the like
- Mr. Ripley has built a mint and treasury, so paper money is in circulation, people can still use caps however, and one cap equals one dollar.
- Expect an enemy who wants the wasteland back to what it was a hundred years ago, which means lots-o-terrorist attacks.
- Finally, expect to hear about Hawaii (hint hint, Wyatt is from there :))

I changed the opening a bit so I might not have it up till sunday or monday if I don't do it tonight, sorry, I have a concert to go to tomorrow.

Chapter One:

"So how many are there Boss," my deputy, Sam, asked.
I had to lightly shake my head for I was deep in thought. We were proned on top of a small boulder that was wedged on the top of a canyon, the canyon itself wasn't that big. The valley that was in it's center however, was decent in size. The valley, which possibly was once a large river, had a direct route to the town which I was the lawman for, Outskirt. There was only one reason Sam and I are here, and the barrel of my sniper was pointed right at it. Finally I looked through my scope for a minute, then while looking through I said, "Three for sure, maybe four, usually they travel in fours but I don't see the fourth."
"My God," Sam whispered, almost to himself, "I mean, one Deathclaw is enough, but four? I'm not sure if we can handle this."
I looked over to him, smirking, and said, "Come on, of course we can handle this Sammy." I looked back through the scope to see the nightmarish creatures skulk through the valley. The smirk was for his benefit honestly, I was really just as scared as he was.
"Oh yeah Boss? And how do you plan to do that huh? Look even with a Anti-Materiel rifle like yours by the time you shoot the first one, the other three with be right on top of us. Boss, I would honestly not like to be mystery meat in a Deathclaw lunch if you don't mind."
"Easy Sam, we can kill them without anyone getting hurt, besides, I'm not using my rifle."
"Really?, then please pray tell how we are going to kill them."
I looked at them one more time, they stopped to drink water in a pond centered in the valley, "Come back to my pick-up, I'll tell you there."
After scooting to the end of the boulder and sneaking back to the bottom of the canyon, I went to the back seats of my truck, finally fishing out what I was looking for, I handed it to the Deputy. "Boss, this is a plunger to activate dynamite," Sam said slowly, clearly he was lost.
Without time to explain all I told him was, "Sam, go back up to the top and watch for me, when I wave my hands you push down on that plunger, I left a surprise for those Deathclaws this morning."
As I started to walk away Sam called to me, "Wait! So why didn't we use this earlier?"
I called back, "Because I didn't know if they would get this close or not, just do your job Deputy! I have this covered!"
Once I reached the valley I stood far enough away from the Deathclaws for me to get away, but close enough for them to spot me. Once they did, I felt my whole body shiver, goosebumps covered my whole body. As soon as they too a step towards me I booked for the trap, not even daring myself to look behind to see how close they were. I needed get right past the trap for the timing to be just right.
I pasted it right as I heard stomping behind me, I wove my arms like crazy, and I didn't stop until I heard the explosion, which was only because it rocked me off my feet. I stood up slowly and looked toward where Sam was, once I saw him I gave two thumbs way up, for I was no longer being chased. The plan was actually not to blow them up, but to blow up the rock and dirt that covered a cavern filled with ratio active water, the water was so deep and low enough from the top that those Deathclaws won't be getting out anytime soon.
I looked back up to the Deputy to see him pointing towards the valley, which at first I thought he was pointing to the explosion. I was waving back at him until I realized just what he was pointing at, across from the gaping hole in the ground was the fourth Deathclaw, and he charging straight for me, I tried to turn to run but I tripped over a small rock. I went to get back up but just then I heard a sniper shot, when I finally looked up I saw the Deathclaw crumble to the ground. I got up on my feet and looked for the shooter, it couldn't of been Sam, I didn't leave my rifle with him, I looked to the other side to see a man in a gray suit and a gray trench coat walk towards me with a familiar custom made 50 caliber sniper.
Once he got close enough he yelled, "Wyatt Sullivan, now why is it we always meet when one of us is in trouble?"
"Jack White, my man, it's good to see you again," I replied as I shook his hand and gave him a half hug. Jack and I go way back, we were best friends since we grew up in the same vault together, it was a miracle he showed up when he did, or was it? I finally ask, "so what brings you all the way out here Jack?"
He looked at me with a devious smile, "well Sully, it's him, Ripley. He wants to see you."
"Me? But why," I asked, perplexed. I hadn't spoken to him since we started building Outskirt.
"Well it's about the NCR, they want you're help and they needed Ripley to find you."
"Well whatever it is I'm in, just let me grab my stuff from my house." We started walking back to my truck and my eagerly awaiting Deputy when I asked, "Do you have any idea what the NCR want?"
"I'm not sure man, but I did hear something about something called the CIA."...

End of chapter one.
