So Molag Bal [censored] Serana?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 11:55 am

Actualy I have a question. If Bal is the king of [censored] then how come all the women had to sleep with him? Not exactly the {censored} of virgin maidens like the first vampire. And Serana's mother wasn't even a virgin.
Cause daughters of coldharbour are normally worshippers of molag bal so majority of them offer themselves to him. So its not technically [censored] but bal is going to [censored] logrolf from the house of horrors quest that's pretty obvious.

As werewolf said king of [censored] is just one of his name's he is normally called the lord of domination he likes to dominate people so if someone will get depressed if they get beaten at their favorite game bal would come along and beat them so hard at their game that they would never want to play it again.

Indeed. All Daedra have many titles to their names. But all of them seem to have an interest in souls. Sheogorath, Molag Bal, Clavicus, Hircine too( known also as the Huntsman of mortal souls)

The truth is Molag Bal can do whatever he pleases. The [censored] doesn't "do" anything, it's basically just a gift that Malog Bal wants and in return he gives them vampirism.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the first vampires were created despite Arkay (the god of life and death).

There are questions surrounding how Arkay began HIs godhood. Some say he was born of Akatosh Or Lorkhan. Some say he was a Demi god between Akatosh and a mortal woman. if memory serves me right they believed the mortal woman to be a virgin that conceived a god.

But there was a book in Daggerfall titled something like "The gods were once like us" that said Arkay was once a shopkeeper that found a special book on the cycle of life and death written in no known language. He became enthralled in it so much that he neglected everything else. He was then hit by the plague and on his death bed prayed to Mara who then accepted him as a god.

Sorry got sidetracked. Basically the first vamps were just to spit in the face of Arkay.

It was called so... molag bal

ontopic:Its pretty obvious that bal had six with serana its the reason why she does not like temples.

Well, if I remember correctly Morrowind was the only TES game with temple to the daedric lords. The rest of them required days of summoning, or going to the random statue out in the middle of nowhere. I miss those temples, they were always fun to explore.
Vampires don't like temples or churches. Doing so in Daggerfall pained the player and even one vampire said he hated to go into places of worship.

And yet again Bethesda ignores lore that they wrote, and allows player to go enter all of the churches s/he wants.

I could have swore on my life that this thread was locked awhile ago, huh guess not.

So why does Serana agree to this ritual to become a pure-blood when she could have just waited for her mother and father to be changed, and then get changed by them?

Because then she wouldn't be pureblooded...but a turned product of a pureblooded vampire. Get my meaning?

Not to mention we still get buffs from the shrines as well. My vampire always make sure she gets Arkay's blessing.

I guess that makes sense. Lets be honest Serana really just wanted to take it from Molag Bal, as disturbing a thought that is you would think she really shouldn't care about being a pureblood when being a vampire makes you immortal anyway.

Funny thing is that the priest of the chapel in Immortal Blood was a vampire...

Being pureblood does mean you are given the greatest power a vampire could possibly have. Vampire Lords? A small price to pay. I suppose with Daedra, there is ALWAYS a price.

Yes but again it comes back to she could have just gotten her mother or father to bite her and change her.

True, but she still wouldn't of been pureblooded. And she would be breaking tradition. And that is a big :nono:

Because it is considered an honor to be pureblooded. Think of Blade, where pureblood are as the elite and feel as if they are true vampires rather than thin-blooded(in their case, turn-blooded) vampires. And by vampiric tradition, female vampires are offered to Molag Bal on his summoning day. Those who survive(they can die in the process) the ordeal become pureblooded vampires. Serana is a tough woman!

I say screw being a pureblooded, as long as I could be a vampire who cares. How does having sixual intercourse with Molag Bal have a chance of killing a woman, unless he beats them with the Mace of Molag Bal at the same time ? I guess she is one tough woman, but underneath she longs for a little loving from my character.

If I had a choice, I would definetly be pureblooded. To hell being a thin-blooded vampire who simply contracted a disease. Eh. I would go Harkon's route and sacrifice a thousand souls for it. How, you ask? We're talking about a Daedric Prince here...Daedric Lord of Domination and Corruption and [censored]. You forget after Lamae was ravished by Molag, she was so beaten and victimized by the ordeal that she passed out and was left comatose. Then the nomads took her in, took care of her, but she still died! And then rose again and ravaged the men, tore the throats of the women and ate the eyes of the children :P.

I don't watch Futurama that much anymore so I wouldn't get that reference.

Haha it is true, I would rather be a Cyrodiilic vampire than a pureblooded vampire, but that is just me. Still, I don't understand how Molag Bal makes it so dangerous, and it is probably best that we do not know that.
