mole rats kill everybody in vault!

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 9:47 am

I have 55 people and lots of rooms, I might have been in the middle of a failed rush but when I zoom out my people don't do nothing but get themselves killed during an infestation which is what happened!

I ask... how?

Most of my people are equipped with weapons! And the 2 that had the best weapons still went down in seconds!

52 people dead because the only ones to survive are 4 hours out in the wasteland!

It's going to take days to revive them if I even can! I won't have enough energy to run the rooms and only energy and water are currently running because they're slowly draining my power that that's all I have enough power for!

This wasn't a mistake on my part this is a glitch in the game! And one that has made me very sad I used 5 dollars already in the game because I loved it! But it's going to take way more then 5 dollars to get my 52 people alive again... and I just can't see spending that every time invincible mole rats (or even invincible radroaches!) Invade my vault! Spending money to get better characters or weapons yes but this? This needs fixed, if I start over I should get a 5 dollar credit to fix YOUR MISTAKE, not mine!

I had to abandon a vault because of this. The problem is that the game does not tell you that mole rats and rad roaches that spawn in rooms are tougher if the room has been upgraded. Nothing even hints it. In order to deal with these menaces apparently you have to have powerful weapons and be very high level. Moral of the story? Don't upgrade your rooms till you're sure you can handle it, and do it one at a time as a test to see if you're right.

But if that's the case then I sure don't want to waste my money! How am I supposed to start over with the 5 dollars I already invested in the game!?

Seriously, if I have to start over then I should get credits towards a new set of lunch boxes in the amount I put in...

This game isn't going to be any fun if it's just a sink hole like this.

Lesson learned, even badass reputation as Bethesda can screw the little people. Can't trust any game with my money anymore.

If I were you then, and I had the caps available, I would start by moving people out of rooms that are too high level, and deleting and rebuilding the room. If you need space or caps, send people out into the waste and do it while they are gone, recalling them little by little.

I personally didn't invest, and probably won't until they start fixing the game by adding tutorial warnings, and general guidelines about how high you should level your rooms.

Wow...I didn't want to spend any more money on this game and now it has killed 20 people! I had 55. 3 still alive out of that, revived 2 and set out on my several day recovery process and I guess after 24 hours they just kill them off, they gave me my stuff back so my rare weapons weren't lost but I still had 1 more rare character to revive on top of taking out 20 of my people! Out of a possible 55, I have 35... That's messed up.

Can't level the rooms up cause they are harder to deal with and now I don't have enough people for the rooms I do have! What the hell!

This svcks. I was really enjoying the game till this crap happened.

I had the same issue. Except I didn't spend money on the game yet.

Still going to have to restart my game though.

Think I'm going to take a break from the game until things are fixed.
