The soldier +damage and +range abilities seemed to work when I used them.

But it says it doesn't affect Grenade Launcher Ammo, or is this ''special grenades'' and not ammo? :o

The underslung launchers count as using a standard frag and are affected by the Soldier's area and damage abilities. (Absolutely horrible idea to use these if FF is on :facepalm: )

This refers to the Lobster GL and the EZ Nade.

I thoughts so too, but then I figured the underslung also used ''ammo'', so I thought it didn't work.. But this pretty much says the opposite, perfect :)

Its especially useful against bots, since they group so close together. Using a molitov to knock them down followed by a super frag, I've taken out 4 in an instant.

The soldier grenade buffs do not work for underslung GL's with the exception of increased speed at which they cool down. It says so in the tooltip. Soldiers are fine if not underutilized, make them less important/powerfull and everyone would run out of ammo.

I'm honestly quite happy.

Every class has their couple of abilities which can be made to feel a little OP, but to take full advantage of them, you need to be very particular about every element of your setup, and that limits your options a lot.

It's surprisingly fair, even when it's giving people a 2-shot noobtube (Molotov + Superfrag).

Yes, that's a powerful combo, but it also makes you REALLY vulnerable if your targets are more spread out, and even one well-buffed opponent in that situation will be enough to get rid of you while you're taking down their teammate. Also, if they have a better setup for long range, and a good view of you when you're trying to approach, you'll never get close (I'm thinking a good AR with a scope and minimal stability/accuracy reduction from attachments, or a Drognav/Barnett, or both...)

Got a nice triple kill with molotovs last night, but then I had to shoot the [censored] out of them before throwing it first.
They are hardly hand held nukes.

This game is not for kids (as you clearly are one) if you find the Molotov's in this game op then you should stick to offline or something like lego pirates,
getting tired of casual gamers trying to change games to suite there lack of skill.
