Sounds like Havok have developed their own take on Euphoria animation. HEEELLLL YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judging from the info we gleamed from the sections about trees and precipitation, much of the world is handcrafted (or fine-tuned by hand) once again. Which would make the map size much more comparable to Oblivion and Morrowind than to Daggerfall. That's not to say it won't be larger than Cyrodiil was, mind you!

Glad we finally have a public screenshot to discuss! I can't believe they cropped the best part off in the magazine (that tower wow!).

The tower wasn't cropped out of the magazine, only the scan.

I haven't been able to watch the havok behavior demo but is it better than euphoria? In the gi article today, they quoted todd as saying its the "tippy-top stuff out there" or something akin to it.

Already tweeted to Petey (I hope calling him that doesn't hurt my chances of getting a reply). Of course, the more people who also tweet him the more attention will be called to the matter. The more attention called to the matter the more likely it will be commented on.

Considering that the team has worked with and know havok I;d say its better than using euphoria.

I was joking, obviously. But yeah, you can't really tell the difference if the forums are crowded with people who actually mean stuff like that when they say it.

About the apparent edits in the article: Who cares? Wasn't anything exciting that has been taken out, I mean if dragons fly around, they're gonna attack mammoths, sure, we guessed so.

For some reason, a couple bits about random encounters of assisting giants track a mammoth and fighting off dragons with some soldiers was removed.
