Hi All

I am completely OCD about collecting every piece of valuable equipment fom dead bodies, chests etc that I can & selling it at the highest price possible - which, as far as I can tell is to Rowley Eardwulf at the Wawnet in who has a max 'till' amount of 2000 Septims.

So 2 questions:
Is there anyone who can pay out more than 2000 at a time? (I've played through about 4 times now & amassed about 600 hours of play & never found anyone higher than Rowley)

Does anyone know what is the max amount of Septims that can be collected? I am currently on nearly 600,000 but got close to 900,000 in a previous playthrough.

If it's relevant, I'm playing it on the Xbox. So no mods unfortunately.

Expert in Mercantile allow you to permanently invest 500 gold in a shop and Master in Mercantile have the effect that al shop have 500 more gold. Total increase is 1000 gold bringing the total to 3000 with some of the official DLC added merchants. I can remember anyone having more than 2000 gold before investing.

As a 100 mercantile, it's certainly gratifying to be able to sell things properly - I did it through training and now am able to invest in shops - not been to the Wawnet Inn recently, so might pop in there this afternoon to invest.

Reckon the most I've ever had in a game was about 100,000, so sounds like you're doing pretty well without the mercantile perk!! :wink_smile:

I've had over a million septims on one character. Kinda game breaking for me. So these days, I sell something expensive at a pittance, and buy it back at as an overpriced item, so that I'm never inconceivably rich.

The max amount is 2k but I think if you have 100 merchant you get more money. The most I've had wal 940k gold. Also, I only uses Eardwulf he is EPIC
