Montages

What do you guys think would make for some good montages/montage clips. And i dont mean the COD i can 360 hax no-scope you from across the map kind of BS. Stuff that would make you just go wow, that was crazy. Not the i haz skillz & pwn nubs. Things that are just random awesomeness and show off the crazy features of the game.

I would probably do montages on a song that fits the mood if I get a better capture card.

my favorite little clip ever is in the CHOIR of GUNS trailer where in about the middle they got the gun sliding up to an enemy then popping him in the face w/ a shotgun!
i liked it because i always use shottys and NEVER have i played a game where i could slide on the ground and pop a guy in the face :D

Maybe if you were to film a good match filled with lots of teamwork? I know it sounds kind of lame, but I love to watch a good team play a video game of any kind.

I think lights are going to make up a huge bunch of the video's since they are the flashiest class. I'd love to see a team of 4 lights of every class freerunning behind enemy lines getting sh** done myself, it would look pretty cool. Otherwise I dunno if there's much to really capture on video, brink sounds much more like a game thats fun to play but isn't flashy enough for huge amounts of videos tbh. No one shot kill weapons, long kill times, lots of Hud, no physics system, no vehicles will make it hard for people to really get into the vids.

but who knows

SMART showcasing will be good.

So will some epic Heavy vs. Light battles where both players are good at their jobs.

The best gameplay video's i see are full games. The whole let's cut out the parts where we svck is kinda lame.

Commentating and watching videos on youtube is only interesting to people if they follow the director. Same thing with sports. You get into boxing and fighting cus of the history the guys have, etc etc.

I completely agree with you, i love watching commentary on full games. but i also like a good montage with perfectly synced music. anything else is crap. but if you do it right. it can be like a form of art.

Now that we have new vids, someone should create a montage.
