Morag tong-dark brotherhood war

Post » Fri Feb 12, 2010 4:28 am

I`m sure this has been posted before but....
So i`ve been playing a lot of DB and thieves guild on oblivion and i realised that the only adversary either faction has is the guard. Fair enough, that`s probably realistic.
However it got me thinking, Since the Brotherhood and the Morag tong are enemies, how fun would it be to have them battling it out in a secret war in skyrim.

And then having a choice of faction to join during the conflict. The Morag Tong could be more politically motivated, and the Brotherhood more about money to give them a difference. i think it would be great to have your faction leader in one play-through being your greatest enemy in another.
By the end of each factions quest-line, you would possibly have ascended to the leadership of your guild and destroyed the opposition.

OT: Morag Tong for more......hardcoe players? The player could be approached about halfway through the DB questline and ask to make a splinter faction by banned members of the Brotherhood.

would be interesting but I wouldnt hang on the Cultist pure evil whackyness Oblivion Portrayed, Both Groups functioned like a business and were determined to take out their targets the brother hood Kills anyone with any hint of betraying the faction without a second thought, so it would be something epic but very stupid to try and take on guys adept at killing you in your sleep :D

As far as I'm concerned the Morag Tong is gone. Nor do I wish to see them again. They bored me.

i'd like to join both. sounds even more profitable to betray them both to each other.

Morag Tong = Morrowind. And Morrowind Ain't Skyrim.. unless it is... But it's not.... Unless Sheogorath says so.... Or Haskill... But nobody believes Haskill.

I don't know, maybe there should be an underground faction of the Morag Tong among the Dunmer population if it is going to be included. Considering how much more powerful the Dark Brotherhood is, they would probably want to be very, very discreet with their movements.

I'd rather see a more goodly organization with a rivalry with an assassin guild, with the player able to choose sides. When I read the topic title I thought "let them devastate each other and then mop up the remnants."

It's possible, but they would be severely weakened and would want to be less public about their existence.
