Moral choices should= assassins trying to kill you

If your a bad person and make bad moral choices you should have people come and try to kill you. Like if your an evil guy who kills innocent people. Rightous knights Regulators should try to hunt you down or hired bandits Talon Company Mercenaries should hunt you down if your good.

I think I already played this game...and don't really want to play it again, thanks though.

Really yhten you should just have it so you gain faction rep. So if for example yuo decide to kill some inhabitants of a town in broad daylight. But escape when you enter that town again some people still have a grudge and want to take it outside, others just dont talk toy uo or give you bad deals. Likewise if you raid a town or help a bandit group they respect you and can walk amoung their camps and roll with them. Then its not just fame or infamy, but if your faction rep is low with a certain place/group and you go near the encampment/settlement, depending on whether you have good rep or bad, good or bad things happen.

Powerful faction might also send assasins, or hitmen or there finest knights to kill you. Or people from faction you have good rep with would be more helpful or aid your cause. Its kind of like the faction rep system in New Vegas. Unlike FO3/RDR of just fame/infamy its faction rep for all the differnt factions and instead of just bad things its also good things.

Why exactly does anyone care whether you're a good or evil person? If you go around screwing with people, eventually some of them are going to try to do something about it, sure. But the game can track who exactly you're ticking off and why just as easily as it can track a good/evil meter.

Besides, I'm pretty sure that bad guys don't just sit around reading the paper and see how you saved an orphanage and say "Wow, that guy seems really nice. That's it, he has to die." And for that matter, if as a thorough jerk you happen to step on another jerk's toes, I don't think he'll let it slide just because you're a fellow evildoer. Karma is not a team sport.

So i string my bow and shoot them off their horses.

i found this really annoying in fallout. maybe if they did it better.

as long as its rare and they dont have uber loot. the darkbrotherhood in morrowind and the talon/rangers in fallout 3 were cash cows that were easily exploitable. they also need to be random like the DB although with a lower chance since in fallout 3 you figured out the spots the showed up at.

Well lets just say you step on the wrong crooked nobleman's toes when trying to correct his misdeeds. He might have enough money and power to take you out of the picture.

I usually hate when people throw ideas out like this but i like it. As long as it's implemented well and in a Elder Scrolls fashion it would be great!

Old idea; Fallout did this (I don't know if Fallout 3 did )

*Ah.. and this was mentioned in this thread. I would not mind its existence, but as was mentioned elsewhere in here, I would not want it implemented as a +/- hit squad after my PC due to extreme reputation. Better if the they were hired as a direct consequence of an NPC dialog, where the NPC left mad, and the PC left the NPC alive.
